Activision has officially released Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile for Android and iOS users. The much-awaited game was scheduled to be released on March 21, but it became available for Indian users as early as last night. Here is everything you need to know about the game’s release.
How to Download Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile?
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is available for download via the Google Play Store and App Store for Android and iOS users, respectively. The total installation size of the game is around 8GB on both platforms. You can search for the game on the store, but if it has not appeared for you yet, we suggest you be patient and keep trying.
This is because Activision is moving ahead with a gradual release as it expands to all the regions worldwide. It is why some users can download the game earlier than others.
If you were part of the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile limited testing, you must download the public release version separately on iOS. Android users do not have to do this, as they will receive the public version as an update to the limited-testing version.
The game supports cross-progression that lets you sync your progress across Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Day Zero Launch Event
To celebrate the game’s release, Activision has announced the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Day Zero launch event. This time-limited event will give players an opportunity to claim interesting in-game rewards.
The launch event is officially called Operation: Day Zero. It will kick off on March 22 and spread across six contested zones on Verdask and Rebirth Island maps. Players must enter these six zones to complete Event Actions and earn Event Points. The game will have special Day Zero Supply Drops packed with better loot for players.
During the launch event, players will earn Community Rewards and Individual Rewards. The official announcement post details the event and rewards.
