Google has ‘accidentally’ confirmed the launch of the Google Pixel 8a smartphone in a support post. The smartphone has been mentioned on one of the company’s support pages, thus indicating that it will launch soon. Last year, the Google Pixel 7a was launched at the I/O conference, which typically takes place in early May.
A Google employee replied to a post on IssueTracker questioning the absence of the battery stats menu after the March 2024 update for Pixel smartphones. The feature was introduced with the Android 14 QPR1 update for Pixel smartphones.
The Google employee revealed that the feature will only be available with Pixel 8a and above smartphones. So yes, the reply indicates that the launch of the Pixel 8a smartphone is real, and the launch will take place soon.
