Google has confirmed the launch of the Pixel Watch at its event on October 6. The Pixel Watch will be Google’s first smartwatch in the Pixel lineup and will debut alongside the Pixel 7 series. Ahead of the launch, the company has teased some of the key features of its smartwatch, including the design. Google revealed that the Pixel smartwatch will have a circular dial and launch in multiple colours.
The Pixel Watch will be available for purchase in October in the US. The device is also likely to launch in India, considering the company has confirmed to launch the Pixel 7 series as well. Meanwhile, days before the official launch and sale, an alleged retail box of the Pixel Watch has leaked online.
Google Pixel Watch Retail Box
The Google Pixel Watch will launch in multiple colour options. As per reports, the Pixel Watch will launch in Obsidian Black, Silver/ Chalk and Gold/ Hazel colours. While Google confirms the colour options, a retail box of the Pixel Watch has leaked online. It reveals the Silver colour variant of the Watch. At the bottom right, there is also the “with Fitbit” text.
Unfortunately, the box does not confirm any other details. However, Google has confirmed some details while the rumour mill churned out a little more of the rest.
The Pixel Watch is confirmed to sport a stainless steel design. It will have a microphone cutout on the right side below the crown button. The watch will also support multiple watch faces and come with a heart rate monitoring sensor.
We can also expect the Pixel smartwatch to support Bluetooth/ LTE calling. It will launch with a starting price of Rs $349.99 (roughly Rs 28,450) for the Bluetooth model. The cellular variant will be priced at $399.99 (roughly Rs 32,650). More details about the Pixel Watch should surface ahead of the event on October 6.
