Apple iPhone 13 series wireless charging details tipped

Apple iPhone 13 series debuts in September 2021. Ahead of the launch, another leak around the iPhone’s specs has surfaced online. The new video from EverythingApplePro, featuring inputs from Max Weinbach, reveals some key details about the magnetic wireless charging coil.

Apple could include a slightly bigger charging coil on the upcoming 2021 iPhone models, according to the tipster. The video does not reveal the wireless charging speed details. However, the tipster claims that Apple could introduce faster wireless charging support via MagSafe. The inclusion of a bigger coil could also result in the inclusion of the long-rumoured reverse wireless charging on the iPhone 13 series. Apple is likely to limit reverse wireless charging capabilities for the Apple Watch and AirPods with wireless charging cases.

Reports in the past claimed that Apple’s upcoming iPhones will pack a bigger battery. The 13 mini is said to feature a 2,406mAh cell, whereas the two 6.1-inch models will pack a 3,095 mAh battery. Apple’s top-end 13 Pro Max will feature a 4,352 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Pro iPhones will have three sensors along with the LED flash and LiDAR sensor. Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the Pro model’s ultrawide camera will have a 6-piece lens instead of the presently existing 5-piece lens and also feature autofocus support.

The notch is also said to be getting smaller. As previously reported by MySmartPrice, Apple will shrink the notch size on all four iPhone 13 series models, despite housing all the Face ID sensors. The Pro models will also get a 120Hz LTPO display. Lastly, the new iPhone models will get the A15 chip under the hood. What are your thoughts on the upcoming iPhone models?
