iQOO has been on a roll since the start of 2023. Till now, the company has launched its flagship iQOO 11 (review) and mid-range iQOO Neo 7 (review) in India. The company is now gearing up to launch another smartphone. iQOO has teased the launch of a Z-series phone which is expected to be the successor of the Z6 series.

iQOO Z7 Series to Launch Soon in India
iQOO has officially confirmed that it will launch the iQOO Z7 series soon in India. As of now, it hasn’t been revealed whether the company will launch the whole series or a single device under the lineup.
Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, revealed the design of the device. The device teased in the image will have a design similar to the Vivo T1x that debuted last year in India. It will have a vertical camera module on the back with the text ‘Photography High Definition’ written along with a LED flash. On the bottom center, it will have the iQOO branding.
Rest, all the details about the device are yet to be revealed. We speculate that the iQOO Z7 series will be sold on Amazon as the Z series from the company has also been exclusive to Amazon.
A past report tipped that the iQOO Z7 Series will have two devices under its lineup – the iQOO Z7 5G and the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G. The iQOO Z7 5G will have the model number I2207, whereas the Pro model will have the model number I2213. The latter was also spotted on TKDN Indonesia website hinting at an imminent debut.

iQOO Z6 Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Z6 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging out of the box.
The phone has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch on top. It has a Full HD+ resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also comes with a layer of Panda Glass second generation.
On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main camera along with two 2MP sensors for macro and depth sensing. There is a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Z6 5G boots Android 12 out of the box with a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top. It weighs about 187 grams and is 8.25mm thick.
