Xiaomi has launched the Mi Band 6 in India. The much popular smart band comes as a successor to the Mi Band 5 launched last year. It comes with an improved, larger screen. The Band 6 has a 1.56-inch colour AMOLED display, which is larger than the outgoing Mi Band 5’s 1.1-inch screen. The smart band also comes with support for multi workout modes and health-related features. The new Mi smart band competes against the likes of the OnePlus Band and the Oppo Band Style. Xiaomi Mi Band 6 launched in India comes with a price tag of Rs 3,499. The budget smart band goes on sale via Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, etc. It comes in four colours – Blue, Light Green, Orange, Maroon.

Specs and features

The Mi smart band 6 features a large 1.56-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The pill-shaped screen has a 326 PPI and comes with support for over 80 band displays. It supports up to 30 sports modes, including Zumba, HIIT, Core Training, Boxing, Basketball, Ice Skating. It can also auto-detect six activities like outdoor running, treadmill, rowing machine, elliptical, walking and cycling.

Other features include 24×7 blood pressure monitoring, heart-rate monitoring and sleep tracking. The smart band also comes with support for Blood Oxygen Saturation, aka the SpO2 monitoring feature.

The smart band is claimed to offer up to 14 days of battery on a single charge. The Band 6 comes with a 125 mAh battery, which can be charged within two hours. Xiaomi claims that the smart band can offer up to five days of battery life with heavy use. Furthermore, the battery can last for up to 19 days in power saving mode. It has a 5ATM rating for water resistance.
