MIUI 13 Global Launch Teased, Could Launch Alongside Redmi Note 11 Series on January 26

MIUI 13 Global Roll out will begin this quarter for eligible devices.

Xiaomi unveiled the latest iteration of its proprietary Android skin – MIUI 13 last month in China. Now, the company seems to be gearing up to announce the global version of the MIUI 13. The teaser was posted through the MIUI official Twitter handle and the same was tweeted by Xiaomi Global VP – Manu Kumar Jain. Take a look at the teaser below,

The teaser reads ‘The time has come‘, but it doesn’t reveal the announcement date. However, we can expect the company to announce it alongside the Redmi Note 11 series which is launching on January 26th in the global markets.

To those unaware, MIUI 13 brings with it new widgets, a new Mi Sans Font, Document Watermarking, Sidebar, Face Verification Protection, Telecommunication Fraud Protection, Family Guard, and more. It also offers Mi Smart Hub feature that aims to offer an enhanced connected experience between smart devices. However, out of all these features, some features may not make it to the Global ROM. Xiaomi has already confirmed MIUI 13 Global rollout schedule for a few devices. Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 11X, Xiaomi Pad 5, Redmi 10, Redmi 10 Prime, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE, Redmi Note 8 (2021), Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Lite, Redmi Note 10 JE are confirmed to start receiving MIUI 13 Global update starting Q1 2022.

As per a new report, Xiaomi recently implemented Material You UI in the MIUI 13 China Beta builds. So, we can expect the same to be introduced to MIUI 13 Global ROM as well.
