OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is expected to launch soon. The company launched the first Nord Buds last year as one of the most affordable truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in the market. The earbuds are expected to get a successor soon. OnePlus is likely to launch the Nord Buds 2 in India and other markets as a rebadged version of the OnePlus Buds Ace. The company has confirmed to launch the Buds Ace in China soon. The new OnePlus TWS will launch in China on February 7 alongside the OnePlus Ace 2.
Ahead of the official launch, OnePlus has confirmed some key details about the upcoming TWS earbuds. The new Buds Ace will be identical to the Nord Buds in terms of design. The company has also revealed some features of the upcoming TWS earbuds. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Buds Ace specifications, features and other details teased ahead of the launch.
OnePlus Buds Ace Design and Specifications
The OnePlus Buds Ace will be the company’s new affordable pair of TWS earbuds for the Chinese market. The earbuds will have a flat stem design. OnePlus has confirmed that the earbuds will have two colour options — Black and White. Each stem has two cutouts, which are likely for the microphone. There is also one circular cutout on each earbud for another microphone. The earbuds come with silicon ear tips, which should help provide better fit and isolation against ambient noise.
The Buds Ace will feature support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), courtesy of a dedicated noise reduction chip. The feature was missing in the original Nord Buds launched last year.

OnePlus claims that the Buds Ace will come with up to 36 hours of battery life. The claimed battery life is including the juice provided by the charging case. This is quite an upgrade over the outgoing Nord Buds, which features the same design. The original Nord Buds came with a claim of up to 30 hours of battery life.
The Buds Ace is also confirmed to offer fast charging support. A 5-minute charge will offer juice for up to 10 hours of playback time. This, again, is faster than the Nord Buds, which claimed to offer the same playback time with a 10-minute charge time.
