The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be the company’s new flagship TWS earbuds launching at the OnePlus 11 launch event on January 4. The company previously revealed that its new premium wireless earbuds will deliver a “full-bodied, stereo-quality audio experience with crystal clarity.”
The company also revealed one of the three colour options — Arbor Green. Alongside, it also teased the design, which suggested that not a lot is changing compared to the original earbuds. Now, tipster Evan Blass has uploaded the official design images of the Buds Pro 2.
The images reveal the retail box of the Obsidian Black colour option. The box contents will include the earbuds in the charging case, and two extra silicone ear tips of different sizes. There is also a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable along with some documents in the retail box.
Regarding the colour options, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will launch in three colourways. The Arbor Green colour has officially been confirmed. Pictured above is the Obsidian Black colour. The images by EvLeaks revealed that the TWS will launch in a White colour option as well.
Much like the other two colour options, the White variant has a dual-tone finish. The bottom half of the stem has a glossy silver finish, whereas the top half has a white paint job. We can also see the microphone cutouts on each earbud.
Some other details of the earbuds have been tipped in the past. Each earbud is said to pack 11mm and 6mm dual drivers. The earbuds will be tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio. The Buds Pro 2 will also support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 45db. In addition to this, there will be features like spatial audio, support for LHDC 4.0 codec, etc.
In terms of battery life, the Buds Pro 2 will offer up to six hours of battery life with ANC enabled. Without ANC, one can expect to get up to nine hours of battery life. The charging case will offer anywhere between 22 hours and 38 hours of battery life in total. Once the battery is drained, users can charge the case and earbuds via fast charging or wireless charging. The earbuds will offer up to 10 hours of battery life with a 10-minute charge. In addition to this, there will be support for an IP55 rating, Bluetooth 5.2 and Google Fast Pair.
