OnePlus has been launching many products in the country to increase its market share. The brand recently started selling its audio products in Myntra to increase the market share of the brand in India. The smartphone giant recently unveiled its OnePlus 11 smartphones and many other products in the country. One product that has been in the rumours for quite a long time is the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 TWS. The product was recently listed in FCC, indicating that the launch is nearing. The product has been spotted on the Indian website of OnePlus by popular tipster Mukul Sharma.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2 TWS Launch Expected Soon
Apart from the FCC listing, there were no developments about the product, which revealed some key specifications. The Nord Buds 2 TWS listing on the official website indicates the imminent launch of the TWS. The tipster said that the product was listed in the spare parts section of the website.
He added that the TWS is expected to launch by the end of March 2023. Apart from this, the listing doesn’t reveal any other details or the specifications of the upcoming buds. The product will be an affordable offering from OnePlus and a successor to the existing OnePlus Nord Buds. The FCC listing revealed that the forthcoming product would feature the model number E508A.
The listing reveals that the individual earbuds will sport a 41mAh battery, and the case to feature a large 480mAh battery. OnePlus will ship the product with 4.5W fast charging tech that can be charged using the USB Type-C port. The buds will sport an in-ear design and measure 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm.
OnePlus will equip the product with the latest Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Apart from the FCC listing, the product has been listed in India’s BIS, Singapore’s IMDA, China’s CQC and Bluetooth SIG listing. There have been rumours that OnePlus will rebrand the OnePlus Buds Ace as OnePlus Nord Buds 2.
The OnePlus Buds Ace was launched in China along with the OnePlus Ace 2 5G. The images in FCC also reveal a similar design to the Buds Ace. If true, the product will be equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and 12.4mm dynamic audio drivers. The product will be available in Black and White colour options.
Other specification includes dual microphones and support for AI call noise reduction. The buds will have an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. OnePlus has claimed 36 hours of battery life with ANC disabled and 27 hours of backup with ANC. The buds will also feature support for touch controls, which can control music playback and accept or reject calls.
