Realme launched the Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro in India last week. These devices are up for sale which can be purchased through Flipkart. Before the official release, Realme had rolled out a new software update with the firmware version number RMX3081_11_A.24 for the Realme 8 Pro. This new update had brought in Starry Mode and Starry Timelapse features. Now, the company is rolling out yet another software update for the Realme 8 Pro, which brings in the April security patch, and a couple of new camera changes. Realme 8 Pro Gets April Security Patch With New Software Update
The new software update that is being rolled out to the Realme 8 Pro carries the firmware version number as RMX3081_11_A.27. This latest release brings in the April security patch for the Realme 8 Pro. That apart, this second software update also adds Hyper motion SLO-MO mode for the rear camera. Furthermore, Realme even has fixed the flicker and probabilistic color shifts issues with this new software release. The update also has added a new watermark style for the photos, as per the changelog.
This second software release for the Realme 8 Pro even adds VoWiFi support for the Vi (Vodafone Idea) cellular operator. Additionally, the update also has fixed the probabilistic issue which occurred when users tried to swipe down the status bar. The newly rolling out software update for the Realme 8 Pro is of 330MB in size. The update might be rolling out to a limited number of users initially, and it should widen its reach when Realme makes sure that there are no critical bugs in this release.
