Sony PlayStation 5 pre-orders went live earlier today. It was the third time that the PS5 was officially available for pre-order. Much like the other two times, the gaming console went out of stock within seconds. The PS5 was available for purchase via several retailers online. These included ShopAtSC, Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, Vijay Sales, etc. The latest pre-order did not include the Digital Edition, which is priced at Rs 39,990. There is no word on the next PS5 restock in India. It could go live in June considering the PS5 exclusive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is launching next month.

Sony PlayStation 5 went on pre-orders today in India. The console flew off the shelves within minutes after the pre-orders went live post 12 pm.
The PS5 was up for grabs on various retail websites. These included ShopAtSC, Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, Vijay Sales, etc. The standard disc variant priced at Rs 49,990 was available for pre-booking earlier today. Much like the previous two pre-orders, PS5 was out of stock across all retailer platforms within a few minutes.
There was no official word on the stock quantity. It is currently unknown when will Sony restore the PS5 stocks for the next pre-order, if there is any.
Customers who managed to pre-book the PlayStation 5 can expect delivery on or before June 7. The delivery date could get pushed further depending on the lockdown situation. Several states in India have announced lockdown-like restrictions. It only permits the delivery of essential items via e-commerce websites.
