Indus Battle Royale: What is it?

The Indus Battle Royale is battle royale game. SuperGaming, the developer of Indus, also revealed that the game has bagged another impressive milestone of crossing 8.5 million pre-registrations on Google Play Store. The game’s trailer showcases its distinctive feature, Cosmium, setting it apart from other battle royale games. The trailer illustrates how players can secure victory by capturing Cosmium, an in-game item that emerges in the concluding moments of a match, allowing for alternative win conditions beyond being the last ones standing.

This implies that conventional tactics such as shooting through opponents or camping until the end of a battle royale match are not the sole options in Indus, introducing a distinctive twist to the gameplay. The extent of popularity for this feature among gamers is yet to be determined.

According to its developers, multiple new features that have been tested and refined through numerous Community Playtests, the Indus Esports Invitational, along with a limited closed beta test for iOS users that began in December 2023.

Super Gaming conducted Indus Esports Invitational back in October 2023 in which Reckoning Esports bagged the championship title.

Indus Battle Royale is set to release on PC, mobile and consoles with an unannounced release date.

Indus Battle Royale Android System Requirements

Leveraging the Indus Engine, SuperGaming’s proprietary technology stack, Indus currently achieves over 40fps on 2022 low-end Android devices boasting 4GB RAM. It adjusts visual details like environments and shadows on such smartphones, based on internal testing.

For 2023 Android phones, consistent 60fps is achieved, even with all visual details set to the maximum in internal tests. This suggests potential compatibility with affordable low-end devices, as long as visual settings are appropriately configured.
