Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, recently announced that it will be working with Jio to launch an affordable 5G phone. The telco is expected to launch its affordable smartphone and 5G technologies. The latest report from ET suggests that the affordable handset is going to be launched in India before Diwali.
We don’t have much information about the specs of the phone. The smartphone is said to run JioOS, which is speculated to be a custom fork of Android suited for budget devices and built to support the Jio ecosystem. According to the latest report the smartphone is already tested at the facilities of UTL Neolyncs, Dixon Technologies, Wingtech Mobiles, and Flextronics Technologies.
Jio-Google Phone Launch in India
The Jio-Google phone is expected to be announced at the Reliance AGM 2021 taking place on June 24. However, the Jio-Google phone is expected to launch before Diwali in India.

Thanks to the Amazon listing and some rumours, we already know some key features of the upcoming smartphone like the RAM, storage, and colour options.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be flaunting a 6.43 Full HD+ display. It will also support a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE 5G will be retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC clubbed with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
For the cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G may feature a 64MP triple camera setup on the rear and a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. The smartphone might have a 4,300mAh battery with support of 65W fast charging. Amazon has confirmed that the smartphone will be available in at least a Charcoal Ink colour option. It is expected to run on Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11.

The company’s representative recently teased the Mi 11 Lite India launch. The phone might be one of the slimmest phones from the company.
