Geekbench Listing Confirms the V15 Pro Will Run on a Snapdragon 675 SoC

The Vivo 1818 Geekbench listing reveals the upcoming V15 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon “6150” octa-core processor under the hood. As confirmed by the NBTC certification agency last month, the Vivo 1818 will be launched as the V15 Pro. While it was previously believed that the Snapdragon 6150 could be an all-new chipset, recent evidence suggests it is actually just a codename for the Snapdragon 675 SoC. The octa-core processor will be coupled with 6GB of RAM, just as the previous leaks had claimed. In terms of performance, the Vivo V15 Pro achieved an impressive 2,382 points in the single-core test and 6,479 points in the multi-core test. The Geekbench listing also confirms the upcoming Vivo smartphone will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Needless to say, the V15 Pro will have the company‚Äôs Funtouch OS running on top of Pie.

Going by previous leaks, the Vivo V15 Pro will sport a near bezel-less Full HD+ AMOLED display measuring around 6.5-inches diagonally. Similar to the V11 Pro, the V15 Pro will feature an In-display fingerprint sensor as well. In terms of storage, the smartphone is tipped to be available in a single variant with 128GB of internal storage. However, we do expect to see a microSD card slot for further expansion. In the camera department, the upcoming Vivo handset will impressive with a whopping 32MP AI pop-up selfie camera and a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP triple-camera setup on the back. In the Indian market, Vivo V15 Pro is rumored to be priced slightly above the INR 25,000 mark. Pre-bookings are expected to open on February 15.
