Vivo X100 With MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, Android 14 Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of November 13 Launch

Vivo is gearing up to launch its upcoming flagship series, the Vivo X100. The company recently confirmed the launch date of the Vivo X100 series at the Vivo Developer Conference. The Vivo X100 series smartphones along with the Vivo Watch 3 are all set to launch on November 13 in China.

Ahead of the launch in its home country, the company’s base model in the lineup, the Vivo X100 has been spotted on the Geekbench database which reveals some key specifications including OS version, phone’s model number, RAM, and processor details. Let’s take a look at the details of Vivo X100.

Vivo X100 To Be Powered By Dimensity Series SoC

The upcoming Vivo X100 with the “V2309A” model number has been spotted on the Geekbench database and the website has revealed the following details. For starters, the phone will run on Android 14 out of the box, which in China is expected to run on the new Origin OS 4.

Further, in terms of processing power, the phone is listed with a “k6989v1_64” motherboard based on ARMv8 architecture. This processor is listed as an octa-core SoC with four cores running at 2GHz, three cores running at 2.85GHz and one performance core running at 3.25GHz. This is none other than the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 flagship-grade processor. The SoC will be coupled with Mali-G720-Immortalis MC12 GPU. Lastly, the listing also confirms the phone features 12GB of RAM, although we can expect multiple RAM and storage options.

More recently, the phone’s camera details were leaked. Based on the leaked info, the Vivo X100 is said to come with a triple rear camera with Sony’s IMX920 as the primary sensor with f/1.57 aperture, a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 wide-angle lens with a focal length of 15mm and an OmniVision OV64B periscope macro lens with f/2.57 aperture and 3x optical zoom. Further, the phone is also expected to feature 120W fast charging, up to 16GB RAM, and more.

Apart from the vanilla Vivo X100, the company is expected to launch the Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo Watch 3 in China on November 13. Going by Vivo’s track record, the top-of-the-line flagship, the Vivo X100 Pro Plus could be launched in 2024.
