Vivo Y100 5G Listed on China Telecom Website, Price, and Specifications Revealed Ahead of Tomorrow’s Launch

Vivo is set to unveil the Vivo Y100 5G smartphone in China on October 27 i.e. tomorrow. The Vivo Y100 5G launching in China will have a different design, chipset, and battery capacity than the Y100 5G India variant. The smartphone is confirmed to feature a 64MP primary camera and a 5,000mAh battery. While we wait for the launch, the smartphone’s full specifications, and pricing are now revealed courtesy of a China Telecom listing.

Vivo Y100 5G China Variant Will Be Powered By Snapdragon 675 Processor

The China Telecom listing reveals that the upcoming Vivo Y100 5G will feature a 6.78-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution. On the software side of things, the device will boot Android 13 out of the box. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC. The device will launch in China in four RAM and storage configurations as revealed by the listing.

The smartphone will pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage, while the other variant will ship with 12GB of RAM which will have a 256GB/512GB of internal storage. In terms of optics department, the device will sport a dual-camera setup. The camera module will include a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. The primary 64MP sensor is confirmed to offer OIS support. On the front side, the device will boast an 8MP camera. Dimensions-wise, the device will measure 164.42×74.92×7.57mm and weigh 183 grams. The whole package will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery.

As for the pricing, the base model of the Y100 5G with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will retail for CNY 1599 (Roughly Rs 18,400), while the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage will cost CNY 1799 (Roughly Rs 20,500). The 12GB RAM model with 256GB and 512GB of internal storage will cost CNY 1999 (Roughly Rs 22,800) and CNY 2199 (Roughly Rs 25,100) respectively.
