The Redmi Note 7 is not a new smartphone by any means. After all, the Redmi Note 8 series has already been launched. As a matter of fact, the Redmi Note 9 series is being said to be launching soon now. Amongst all this, if we spot the Redmi Note 7 smartphone running on the upcoming Android 11 (R) OS, we would definitely have to report the same to you. Yes, you heard it right. The Redmi Note 7 has once again been spotted on the Geekbench database website, but this time with Android R OS baked on top.
As seen in the Geekbench database website, the Redmi Note 7 can be noticed utilizing the Android 11 (or the Android R) OS. The device managed to score 344 on the single-core test and 1,467 on the multi-core test.
One thing worth noting is the fact that Geekbench scores can easily be tempered with, so we would suggest our readers to take this news with a slight grain of salt for now. Of course, we will keep track of the same and keep you posted, should we receive any further development.
As far as the Redmi Note 7 is concerned, the device has already received the latest MIUI 11 update based on Android 10 in China, but we have so far not received any official confirmation from the company about the device receiving any future updates.
