The Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone uses an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC, and packs 8GB of RAM. The device takes some good images, thanks to a 108MP triple-camera setup. The smartphone has a long lasting battery life and a 120W fast charging support. The device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot. Overall, the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G is a good smartphone in the Rs 40,000 price range, which you should consider buying.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G looks exactly like its 4G model with no design changes. In terms of design, the S20 FE 5G has a very clean and minimal look with a plastic back panel. This phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, which-- albeit slightly dated--handles day-to-day tasks with ease, including running heavy games like Call of Duty: Mobile. The S20 FE 5G runs on Samsung's One UI 3.1, which is based on Android 11. This device comes pre-loaded with numerous apps, though users can uninstall them based on their preferences. As for the display, there's a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display that provides a natural look and accurate colours. While indoor brightness is satisfactory, outdoor visibility might be lacking. Powering the device is a 4500mAh battery, supporting up to 25W of fast charging; disappointingly, it ships with a 15W charger. The camera setup includes a 12MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera at the back, and a 32MP selfie shooter at the front. Daylight captures are crisp and vibrant, though low-light performance is average. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G caters well to casual users seeking a 5G-enabled device for their daily usage despite its older processor, making it a suitable choice for their needs.

Moto G60 is an excellent addition to the competitive mid-range segment in India. The phone features a 120Hz refresh rate display, powered by the reliable Snapdragon 732G chipset with 6GB RAM for effective performance. The triple cameras do a good job in most conditions and even the selfie camera delivers. The built-in 6,000mAh battery offers long backup as well. However, the phone is on the heavier side and only gets a hybrid SIM slot. Definitely worth considering in this budget.

Poco X3 Pro is the ideal mid-range phone in the market for power-hungry users. It has pretty much everything you need. Big screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate, Android 11-based software, decent cameras on both sides and IP rating for splash-proof resistance. You also get long battery backup with 33W fast charging supported. However, the only drawbacks are hybrid storage slot and a bulky design can be uncomfortable to use. Poco X3 Pro is a definite choice for buyers.

OnePlus 9 Pro offers a superior experience as compared to the earlier versions of OnePlus smartphones. The device's notable features are the 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display and impressive quad cameras featuring a 48MP+50MP+8MP+2MP configuration. The 16MP selfie-shooting lens at the front captures elegant selfies. Fueling the smartphone is a 4500mAh battery; aided by a 65W Warp charge, it does not take much time to refill the battery. The phone does not support expandable memory, and users have to contend with 128GB of internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy A52 competes in a crowded market with average hardware in tow. Yes, the Super AMOLED screen is a big plus but only supports 90Hz refresh rate at this price. The cameras do a decent job and even the selfie camera is quite competent. But having 4500mAh battery might not prove adequate for most power users. Worth going for if you rely on a brand name and want to avoid the Chinese devices. Otherwise, much better options available in this price range.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the affordable version that sits below the regular Nord launched last year. It supports 5G thanks to Snapdragon 750G SoC, and this variant gets 6GB RAM with 128GB storage which is not expandable. You do get back the headphone jack which is good but the plastic body is a downer in this price range these days. The cameras are average at best but thankfully the long battery life with fast charging helps in daily use cases. Nord CE 5G has touch competition in this price bracket right now.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G is one of the lightest phone in the market at 158 grams. It features a 90Hz AMOLED display that is bright and produces crisp colours. The performance from Snapdragon 778G is reliable, which translates into long battery backup as well. The cameras do a good job in most conditions, and 33W charging is handy. However, the screen only gets 90Hz refresh rate at this, and the size means you miss out on headphone jack and a dedicated card slot for storage. Definite option for buyers in the mid-range.

The Oppo F19 Pro Plus looks elegant, and the phone's build quality is solid, thanks to its polycarbonate body. The device packs four cameras on the rear embedded inside the rectangular camera module. It includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP monochrome camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the processing front, the device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U MT6853V SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM. The phone comes loaded with a 4310mAh battery with 50W fast-charging support. Realme GT 5G has a lot going for it. It's a power-packed device under Rs 40K with Snapdragon 888 chipset which is impressive. This variant gets 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, which sadly is not expandable. The Super AMOLED display gets 120Hz refresh rate support which is slick and you'll love playing games on it. The OS still has bloatware which is not ideal and the primary camera at the back is a mixed bag. And finally, the 4500mAh battery has a lot to thank for the 65W charging speed for quick juice up. Definite choice for power users, but stay away if you like clicking quality photos.

Vivo V21 5G mainly focuses on selfie enthusiasts with its 44MP camera that even supports OIS. Rest of the device looks underwhelming for its price, especially with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset on offer. You have 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable but only at the expense of second SIM. The rear cameras offer average results and the battery life could be better. Go for the V21 5G only if you are fond of clicking selfies and have money to spend.

Xiaomi Mi 11i has all the attributes to be a value for money buy in the market. It uses the new Dimensity 920 chipset to bring 5G network to this range. The cameras also do a good job in most conditions, especially the main sensor. The AMOLED display is sharp and gets high refresh rate support and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Even the battery life good, along with 67W fast charging support. The only drawback is the hybrid SIM slot which either lets you use the second SIM or expand storage. Go for the Mi 11i for its overall value.

The third-generation of Galaxy Z Fold 3 looks to appeal to more buyers with its price tag. It has the power, design and foldable form factor in its favour. The cameras do a reliable job for its purpose, and it can handle some level water splashes. However, the selfie camera is average, the storage is not expandable and the average battery life only gets 15W charging support for its price, which is not acceptable these days. Definitely worth buying if you want to own the foldable experience.
