Google Pixel 9 5K CAD Renders
The 5K CAD renders reveal that Google go for a design similar to the Pro variant. The upcoming Google Pixel smartphone will sport rounded corners and flat edges. The revised camera island can be seen on the rear of the device. The camera island doesn’t extend all the way from one end to another.
The one significant change is the addition of a third sensor to the base Pixel 9 smartphone. The publication confirms that the upcoming device will sport a telephoto sensor. The telephoto sensor looks similar to the one present in the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro smartphone. Specific details of the triple camera sensors are currently unknown.
The camera visor also houses an LED flash and another sensor, which is believed to be a temperature sensor. The tipster confirms that the smartphone will feature a 6.1-inch flat OLED panel. The 6.1-inch panel will also house a centred punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera.
A minimal level of bezels can be seen on all four sides of the upcoming Google Pixel 9 smartphone. The upcoming 6.1-inch panel will be smaller than the existing vanilla Pixel 8 smartphone, which sports a 6.2-inch OLED panel. We recently saw a similar reduction in the size of the display in the renders of the Pixel 9 Pro smartphone.
The renders showcase the Blue colours of the vanilla model of the smartphone. Google will also debut the smartphone in multiple shades during the launch. The upcoming Pixel 9 series smartphones are likely to debut in October.
The tipster divulges that the smartphone will measure 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm. The dimensions will jump to 12 mm when the camera visor is included. The power button and volume rockers will be placed on the right side of the upcoming Google Pixel 9 smartphone.
The left side of the device will sport antenna markings similar to the Pro variant. The device will also have a SIM card tray, a USB Type C port, and a speaker grille on the bottom. The mmWave antenna cover and microphone will be placed on the top. Google Pixel 9 series smartphones will likely come with the Tensor G4 chipset.
