The upcoming clamshell smartphone will be the second-generation clamshell device from OPPO. OPPO Find N2 Flip (review) was the brand’s first clamshell smartphone, launched at the OPPO Inno Day 2022 in China along with Find N2. A couple of months later, OPPO launched the Find N2 Flip smartphone for the global markets at a launch event conducted in London.
OPPO also unveiled the pricing and availability for smartphones in India in March 2023. The latest teaser shared by OPPO reveals that the company will launch the device on August 29 in China. OPPO has also confirmed that it will launch the OPPO Watch 4 Pro along with the device in China. The event will start at 2:30 PM (UTC + 8) and be live-streamed on OPPO’s Chinese social handles.

The upcoming Find N3 Flip is expected to launch in the global markets in the coming months. OPPO has also revealed the rear design of the smartphone. The company teases that the device will be launched in a gold colour option. The teaser reveals that the upcoming OPPO Find N3 Flip will have triple rear cameras tuned by Hasselblad. For reference, OPPO Find N2 Flip sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
OPPO equips the smartphone with a circular camera layout with individual camera rings and Hasselblad branding. The teaser image confirms that the upcoming device will have an outer display similar to the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right side of the device. OPPO branding can be seen on the bottom centre of the device’s rear panel.
OPPO will launch the device with a centred punch-hole with an earpiece on top of it. The Find N3 Flip will have relatively thick bezels around the display. OPPO is expected to reveal the specifications of the smartphones through teasers in the upcoming days. The company recently confirmed that the forthcoming OPPO Watch 4 Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC and BES 2700 co-processor.
The chipset will pair with up to 2GB of RAM. OPPO will equip the watch with an LTPO AMOLED panel with full-colour Always On Display (AOD) support. The upcoming watch will feature an eight-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, a wrist temperature sensor, and an ECG sensor. The company claims the device will offer a five-day battery life in full smart mode.
