Krafton the developers of PUBG Mobile back in February announced a new gaming title called PUBG New State. The game title is essentially the 2.0 version of the PUBG Mobile online smartphone game. The company has also shared a trailer of the game which suggests that the game is set in 2051. Now, in the latest development, the company has announced that it will host alpha tests for the PUBG New State during the second quarter of 2021. Do note that the test will be held in a limited number of regions. Let’s have a closer look at the announcement.
PUBG New State Alpha Tests
“We’re hard at work developing the game, but we hear you! Outside of 2021, we don’t have more details around a release date, but we’re happy to announce that we will host alpha tests for #PUBGNEWSTATE during Q2 2021 in a LIMITED number of regions. Stay tuned for more info,” reads the official announcement.
The Alpha tests are going to allow some selected users to play the PUBG New State game title for the first time. During this period gaming enthusiasts will be able to test the game to the core and report bugs.
The company didn’t reveal anything about the launch date of the upcoming gaming title, but it does suggest that new information about PUBG New State will be provided by the company in certain intervals. The game developers also have received more than 5 million pre-registrations on Google Play within a week.

The trailer released by the developers gives us a glimpse of the upcoming gaming title. It shows that the game is set in 2051 where “anarchy rules as numerous factions battle each other.” The trailer video shows that the players will be dropped on a new map that they can explore. The PUBG New State will arrive with features like Combat Rolls, Customization kits, and Grenade launcher attachments.
Besides, players can also customize their weapons which can be possible with the help of a customization kit. You can also attach a grenade launch with your gun, the upcoming game title seems promising. It would be interesting to see when Krafton is planning to launch the game across the globe.
