Realme recently launched the GT Neo 5 5G in China. The device comes with support for 240W fast charging out of the box. The GT Neo 5 5G also features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is being speculated that the Realme GT Neo 5 5G could debut globally as the GT 3 5G. The company has teased the launch of the GT 3 5G for the global market. Meanwhile, a new Realme GT Neo series smartphone could be in the works. The company might launch a new Realme GT Neo 5 SE in the coming weeks or months.

According to a new leak, Realme is working on a new SE variant of its fastest-charging smartphone. The company might also use a new Qualcomm processor that is yet to be announced globally. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications, features and other details known so far.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE Might Launch Soon

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE will sit below the standard model, which was launched with support for 240W fast charging support in China. The GT Neo 5 SE will feature a yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 SoC. The upcoming Qualcomm SoC will be an upgrade over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, which is found in the Xiaomi Civi 2 and Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G.

The GT Neo 5 SE reportedly visited AnTuTu with the upcoming Qualcomm chipset and managed to score a whopping 1,029,731 points. In comparison, the Dimensity 8200 SoC scored over 8,62,000 points.

Qualcomm has not confirmed any details about the chipset nor has the rumour mill managed to churn out any more details. However, we might see some details about the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 SoC soon.

This is also the first time we are hearing about the GT Neo 5 SE. Therefore, other than the chipset, no other specifications of the phone are known at the moment. The phone will sit below the GT Neo 5 5G in China. There is a possibility of the phone launching in India later this year as well. Realme has obviously not confirmed any details about the India launch. While we wait for that, here’s a quick look at the GT Neo 5 5G specifications.

The GT Neo 5 5G features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The screen refreshes at 144Hz and supports 2160Hz PWM dimming.

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS. There is an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera.

The phone comes with up to 240W fast charging, which packs a 4600mAh battery. There is a 150W charging variant of the phone, which packs a 5000mAh battery. The device runs on the latest Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box. It has a starting price of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 30,600) in China for the 150W variant. The 240W variant is priced at CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs 39,200) for the base 16GB + 256GB storage option.
