Xiaomi, back in December, unveiled the Xiaomi 12 series in the Chinese market. The Xiaomi 12 series, as of now, consists of three devices – the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro. The brand is expected to launch the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Lite, Xiaomi 12S, and Xiaomi 12S Pro in the future. Now, Xiaomi co-founder – Lei Jun, in a post on the Chinese micro-blogging site – Weibo, has revealed that the brand will introduce a new flagship, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 next month in China.
Though Jun didn’t specifically reveal the moniker of the device, it is expected to be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the successor of last year’s Xiaomi 11 Ultra. To those unaware, Xiaomi had introduced flagship devices with Ultra monikers back in 2020 starting with the Mi 10 Ultra. However, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra didn’t make it to the global markets, but its successor did. Let us take a closer look at what we know about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra so far.
