Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphones on October 2023 in China. Xiaomi was the first manufacturer to debut smartphones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Chinese smartphone giant is also working on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone. The upcoming Ultra smartphone will also sport the flagship Qualcomm chipset.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is slated to launch in China in March and will also debut in the global markets. Our team at MySmartPrice has spotted the upcoming device in EEC certification, confirming its international debut. Xiaomi 14 Pro was also slated to debut in the global markets, similar to its predecessor. However, a new report claims that Xiaomi will only launch the Xiaomi 14 in the international markets, including India.

According to the report on Xiaomiui, Xiaomi has stopped developing the international builds of HyperOS for the Xiaomi 14 Pro, indicating that the smartphone will be limited to the Chinese market. In contrast, Xiaomi is actively testing the global internal build of HyperOS for the vanilla Xiaomi 14 smartphone.

Xiaomiui reports that the last internal build of Xiaomi 14 Pro has the version number MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNBMIXM. For those unaware, HyperOS, which debuted with the Xiaomi 14 series smartphones, is a rebranded MIUI 15 UI. Xiaomi has renamed the version number of the latest internal build for European markets to OS1.0.0.4.UNBEUXM after the debut of HyperOS.

MySmartPrice has previously spotted the vanilla smartphone in BIS certification, confirming the India debut of the Xiaomi 14 device. Xiaomi is likely to launch the smartphones in January 2024 after the debut of Redmi Note 13 5G series smartphones.

To recall, Xiaomi did not launched the Xiaomi 13 smartphone in India and it is likely to depart from the trend with the 14 series smartphones. However, the OEM debuted the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones in global markets.
