Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the CIVI 4 Pro with the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset in China on March 21. The company has also confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo with the same chipset. Check out the details.

Xiaomi Smartphones Launching with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC

The upcoming Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro will be the first smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The chipset is manufactured on a 4nm process with a 1+4+3 architecture and features a Cortex X4 core clocked at 3.0GHz.

For those unaware, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features a similar Cortex X4 clocked at 3.3GHz. The chipset supports multiple AI models, including the Gemini Nano, Llama 2, and more. Qualcomm also integrates the Snapdragon X70 modem and Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 Mobile Connectivity System.

As for the specs, the smartphone will sport a Leica Summilux lens similar to the flagship Xiaomi 14 series smartphones. It will feature a primary camera with an f/1.63 aperture, a 2x optical zoom, and a focal length of 15mm–50mm. The other sensors are expected to be an ultrawide camera and a telephoto camera.

The CIVI 4 Pro will debut with a circular camera module housing triple rear cameras. Xiaomi will equip the smartphone with advanced Kona leather on the rear, which is water- and dirt-resistant. The CIVI 4 Pro will be available in pink and blue colourways apart from the green shade.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro smartphone might debut under the Xiaomi 14 Lite moniker in global markets, including India. The phone was recently spotted on the BIS certification site.

Redmi Note 13 Turbo Confirmed Too

In related news, Redmi has confirmed that it will soon debut a smartphone under the Redmi brand with the newly announced Qualcomm chipset.

The leaks on the internet reveal that Redmi could equip the Redmi Note 13 Turbo smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The IMEI listing obtained by the device reveals that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will go official under the POCO F6 moniker in international markets.
