The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 with NFC support is priced at CNY 279 (roughly 3,330), while the Band 8 without NFC costs CNY 239 (roughly 2,850). The Band 8 comes in the Black and White colour options. As far as the availability go, the Band 8 is already available for sale in China. However, as of now, Xiaomi is yet to reveal the global availability of the Xiaomi Band 8.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display that has a HD 192×490 pixels resolution. The display has a 60Hz refresh rate, pixel density of 326 PPI, and up to 600 nits brightness. The device also has an Always-on display support and water resistance up to 60 meters. The Band 8 comes with a variety of straps including a novel necklace-shaped strap and a leather strap. It also can be put on shoelaces. This new fitness tracker also includes games such as 2048, Sudoku, ping-pong shooter, trivia, and more. The fitness tracker also adopts a quick-release mechanism and it also has a sleek metallic texture.
As mentioned above, the Smart Band 8 supports 150+ training mode, and it has heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, Spo2 monitoring, and female period tracking support. The Band 8 also has new running bean mode which offers a more professional running experience. This new mode provide 13 professional data such as stride frequency, ground contact vacancy ratio, stride length, ground impact force, and professional interpretation of various data. Apart from the running bean mode, Xiaomi also has introduced the interactive boxing mode with the Band 8. This new mode is designed to enable users to track data related to somatic senses or somatosensory systems while in boxing action.
With the Band 8, users can control music, camera, reply to the quick messages, and see incoming call alerts. This new offering from Xiaomi includes 100+ new watch faces and a Mars super wallpaper. Dimensions-wise, the Band 8 measures 48 × 22.5 × 10.99mm and weighs 27 grams. It ships with a 190mAh battery which offers up to 16 days of battery life with typical usage.
