7.9/10 by Shubh Bhushan | 16 Apr 2026

The Samsung Galaxy A57 refines an already familiar formula with a slimmer design, stable performance, and a dependable software experience supported by long-term update support. The display remains a strong point, and the cameras produce natural-looking photos in most conditions. However, peak performance falls behind some similarly priced rivals; the absence of a telephoto lens feels like a missed opportunity; and battery efficiency could be improved. Nonetheless, the Galaxy A57 focuses on providing a balanced everyday experience, making it a sensible choice for users who prioritise consistency, longevity, and overall reliability over chasing standout specifications.

The Nothing Phone 4a offers a well-balanced experience that emphasises everyday usability over impressive specifications. Its transparent design still feels unique, the display appears natural, and the cameras work reliably in various situations. Battery life is sufficient to get through a busy day, and Nothing OS 4.1 maintains a clean, smooth interface. However, the Glyph interface feels less expressive than before, performance is not the best in this price range, and the IP64 rating provides only basic protection. Nonetheless, the Phone 4a remains an easy phone to appreciate for its consistency and thoughtful design.

The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is a well balanced smartphone in its price segment. You get excellent display, good battery life, 6 years of software support along with good build quality with strong protection. The processor is not fastest in segment so gamers and pure performance seekers will find it wanting.
