The OnePlus 12R will be the first R-series smartphone to launch in global market (outside India). The handset is expected to debut as the OnePlus Ace 3 in China and might go official on January 4. Ahead of OnePlus Ace 3 China launch, tipster Max Jambor has now revealed complete specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 12R. Let us take a closer look at the details.
Max claims that the OnePlus 12R will retail in two colour options – Iron Gray and Cool Blue. The handset is tipped to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The tipster further suggests that the OnePlus 12R will be equipped with a 5500mAh battery unit and 100W fast charging support.
Max also claims that the OnePlus 12R will sport a triple-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter. The high resolution sensor on the upcoming OnePlus handset will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor.
The OnePlus 12R is said to feature a ProXDR display, made in collaboration with BOE. The display on the handset is tipped to feature 1.5K pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, similar to its predecessor. It might also get a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. The device, as per the tipster, will be offered in two storage options – 128GB (UFS 3.1) and 256GB (UFS 4.0).
