GoPro Brings MAX2, LIT HERO and Fluid Pro AI to India with a Focus on Next-Gen Creators

GoPro has introduced three new devices in India: MAX2, LIT HERO and Fluid Pro AI, strengthening its push into lifestyle and creator-focused gear. With prices starting at ₹23,000, the brand aims to reach both professional filmmakers and casual users looking for smart, compact tools to capture high-quality content.

A Broader Play in India's Creator Market

This launch marks GoPro's most diverse lineup in recent years. The company is now competing not only in the premium action-camera space but also in lifestyle and AI-assisted accessories. As India's creator economy continues to expand, GoPro is positioning itself against rivals like DJI and Insta360 with products designed for flexibility, mobility and ease of use.

MAX2: The 8K 360 Camera Built for Professionals

The new GoPro MAX2 captures True 8K 360-degree video and offers up to 21 per cent more resolution than competing models. It features 10-bit colour, GP-Log encoding and 29-megapixel 360 photos for greater control in post-production. The camera includes twist-and-go replaceable lenses, six microphones, built-in GPS, and supports AI-based editing through the GoPro Quik app.
Priced at ₹54,999, the MAX2 comes bundled with a 64GB SD card and is available through Amazon, Flipkart, Croma and Reliance Digital.

LIT HERO: Compact Camera with Built-In Light and Retro Charm

Weighing just 93 grams, the LIT HERO is GoPro's smallest lifestyle camera yet. It records 4K video at 60fps, offers 2x slow-motion playback, and comes with a built-in light for low-light scenes. The rugged and waterproof design (up to 5 meters) makes it suitable for travel, nightlife and casual vlogging. Its magnetic mounting and creative 4:3 aspect ratio also make it ideal for social-first content.
The LIT HERO will be available from early December for ₹28,500.

Fluid Pro AI: Smarter Stabilisation for Hybrid Creators

The Fluid Pro AI gimbal has been designed for creators who shoot across multiple devices. It works with GoPro cameras, smartphones and compact point-and-shoot cameras weighing up to 400 grams. The device includes AI subject tracking, an integrated fill light, and an 18-hour battery that can also serve as a power bank. The gimbal is priced at ₹23,000 and will go on sale from January 2026.

What This Means for Buyers?

With these three launches, GoPro is now addressing every major content segment. The MAX2 is built for professionals who want cinematic 360-degree footage, the LIT HERO appeals to vloggers and lifestyle users, while the Fluid Pro AI supports hybrid creators seeking intelligent stabilisation. Together, they reflect GoPro's broader shift toward a complete content-creation ecosystem.

GoPro's 2025 portfolio feels like a smart recalibration of its brand identity. The MAX2 sets a new standard in 360 imaging, the LIT HERO adds personality to lifestyle capture, and the Fluid Pro AI enhances flexibility for multi-device creators. Rather than chasing specs alone, GoPro is investing in usability, design and creative freedom. It is a combination that should resonate strongly with India's growing base of digital storytellers.
