Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone in China in August 2023. The company also debuted the Mi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and more. The Chinese giant will launch the Redmi K60 Ultra in the global markets under the Xiaomi 13T Pro moniker with improved optics. A report dated June 2023 revealed the IMEI listing of the forthcoming Redmi K70 series smartphone.

Later, we spotted the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro smartphone in the GeekBench listing. The GeekBench listing revealed the upcoming device’s chipset, RAM, and Android version details. Earlier, a spoofed K70 Pro smartphone was spotted in GeekBench, which was a renamed Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. Xiaomiui has spotted the smartphone in the MIUI 15 server. The firmware version spotted by Xiaomiui reveals the launch timeline of the upcoming device.

The Xiaomiui report confirms that the upcoming smartphones will run on MIUI 15 based on Android 14 out of the box. The upcoming K70 series smartphones are tipped to offer significant improvements over its predecessor. The report divulges that Xiaomi is testing an internal stable MIUI 15 based on Android 14 build for the upcoming smartphones.

Xiaomi will launch three smartphones initially in the upcoming K70 series lineup. These smartphones would be launched under the Redmi K70, K70 Pro, and K70i monikers. The upcoming devices will have the model numbers 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C. The report also states that upcoming devices will bear the model numbers MIUI-V15.0.0.2.UNLCNXM, MIUI-V15.0.0.2.UNKCNXM, and MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNMCNXM.

The report states that Xiaomi will likely launch the smartphones in China by the first week of December. The IMEI listings of the smartphones indicated that Xiaomi might launch the devices by the end of November in China. The report adds that the Redmi K70 Pro smartphone will be exclusive to China. Xiaomi is also tipped to launch the other Redmi K70 series smartphones outside China under the Poco F6 series moniker.

The GeekBench listing of the K70 Pro smartphone with the model number 23117RK66C scored 1100 points in the single-core and 5150 points in multi-core rounds. The listing confirmed the presence of a Qualcomm chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 750 GPU.

The octa-core CPU has a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz with a 1 + 2 + 5 core setup. The specifications of the chipset confirm that the upcoming K70 Pro smartphone will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Qualcomm is scheduled to launch the chipset in Hawaii on October 24. The listing also confirmed the presence of a 16GB RAM variant.

Xiaomi is likely to launch the smartphone in higher RAM variants apart from the 16GB variant, which may increase up to 24GB due to current industry trends. Various reports on the web suggest that Xiaomi might equip the vanilla K70 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The affordable Redmi K70i smartphone is said to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
