Xiaomi’s President recently hinted at the chipset details of the upcoming K70 smartphone. The brand has previously confirmed that the Redmi K70 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC. The Chinese smartphone giant has also confirmed the chipset details of the affordable Redmi K70E smartphone. It is aiming to launch the upcoming K70 series smartphones with the most potent chipsets available in the industry. Now, the latest teaser shared by Redmi on Weibo confirms the launch timeline of the forthcoming K70 series smartphones.
Redmi K70 Series Launch Timeline Revealed
The upcoming K70 series would consist of the K70, K70 Pro, and K70E smartphones. The teaser shared by Redmi confirms that the upcoming handsets will offer a performance revolution in the industry. The company hints Xiaomi will equip them with several improvements in Artificial Intelligence. Xiaomi further states that the K70 series phones will debut in November.
The brand is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the upcoming K70 series smartphones. Earlier today, Redmi confirmed that the K70E smartphone will be powered by the newly debuted MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 2nd generation 4nm process and features four ARM Cortex-A715 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores built on ARM v9 CPU architecture.
The chipset is said to offer 20% faster CPU performance and 30% efficiency than its predecessor. MediaTek has equipped the SoC with the Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. Xiaomi adds that the smartphone has scored over 15,26,328 points in the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. The company teases that the upcoming Redmi K70E will be the first to offer a complete experience of Artificial Intelligence in a smartphone.
The K70E has also completed a one-hour extreme gaming test where it managed to secure an average of 58.86 FPS throughout the session. Our team at MySmartPrice recently spotted the Redmi K70E on GeekBench with the same chipset. The smartphone has scored 1248 points in single-core and 4177 multi-core tests. Xiaomi previously confirmed that the Redmi K70 Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Digital Chat Station tipped that Xiaomi will equip the device with a flat AMOLED panel with 2K resolution. DCS adds that the device will bring several improvements in peak brightness, dimming, slimmer bezels, and more. The handset will be backed by a 5120mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging tech. The renders of the smartphone revealed a rectangular camera layout with triple rear cameras.
The vanilla Redmi K70 is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone is tipped to launch under the Poco F6 moniker in India. The upcoming Poco F6 recently received BIS certification with the model number 2311DRK481, hinting that the launch is imminent. The 3C certification of the K70 indicates that it will feature 90W fast charging tech. Other features of the K70 series is currently unknown, though we would not need to wait for long.
