The Vivo X300 Ultra isnt trying to be a balanced flagshipand thats exactly its appeal. It delivers one of the most capable camera systems on a smartphone today, backed by strong performance, a great display, and excellent battery life. But that focus comes at a cost: its bulky, expensive, and not the most practical daily device. If photography and videography are your priority, its easy to recommend. For everyone else, more well-rounded options make better sense.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE gets most of the fundamentals right, with a premium design, excellent display, polished software, capable cameras, and long-term update support. However, its performance isnt class-leading, gaming can cause some heat, and charging is relatively slow. The bigger issue is the 79,999 price tag. At this price, the S26 FE feels more like a safe, well-rounded choice than an exciting one, making it difficult to recommend over more competitive alternatives.

Sure, the iPhone 15 may seem like it costs a pretty penny, but it brings a lot of important Apple tech such as USB Type-C, 48MP camera, Dynamic Island and the A16 Bionic chip. Despite the lack of a telephoto camera on the iPhone 15, its computational photography prowess helps it be one of the best camera phones for the price point. At 20W, the charging speeds are still archaic, but its battery life is surprisingly good for a phone its size.
The integration of iOS 16 ensures a smooth and secure user experience. The Dynamic Island is a useful addition compared to the plain old notch on the display. However, the absence of a high-refresh-rate display might be a drawback for users accustomed to smoother animations.
