The CMF Phone 2 Pro isnt a major upgrade over its predecessor or quite Pro, but its still solid value under Rs 20,000. You get a vivid display, clean UI, good battery life, and reliable daylight photos. Downsides include lackluster performance gains, a mono speaker, and awkward button placement. For better sound and power, opt for the Realme P3 5G. Prefer long battery life? The Vivo T4x is a way to go.

The Moto G67 Power delivers surprising value for its price. It’s a bit bulky, and its IPS LCD display holds it back, but the performance easily outshines expectations, even beating the more expensive G86 Power in benchmarks. BGMI HDR at 60 FPS, a 7000mAh battery, and the premium vegan leather feel make it a strong performer for budget users. However, cameras, limited software updates, and one-day battery life keep it from being a perfect all-rounder.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is a notable upgrade with a vibrant AMOLED display and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Despite a camera downgrade, it still captures good images in ample light. However, the Snapdragon 695 SoC lags behind rivals like the Poco X6, Vivo T3, and iQOO Z9 in performance. If routine tasks are your priority, the Nord CE4 Lite is a solid option.

The Motorola G85 brings a sleek design, a curved pOLED display, outstanding battery life, and impressive speaker performance. For those who appreciate a stylish phone, Motorola has ensured that this device caters to their needs. With a curved screen offering vibrant, punchy colours, it's a standout option in the sub-Rs 20,000 range. On the camera front, it captures social media-ready photos, though they may appear artificial. While the phone can handle demanding tasks without issue, it does tend to heat up after extended use. If you're after a phone with a clean and straightforward software experience, this one checks all the right boxes.

The OnePlus Nord CE4, starting at Rs 24,999, offers reliability with its sleek design and powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Gaming is smooth, and the robust battery with 100W fast charging ensures you stay powered up. While its cameras excel in daylight, low-light performance could be better. Opting out of bloatware is a plus, but longer software support would be appreciated. Overall, it's a solid choice under Rs 25,000 for those seeking dependable performance.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is caught in the middle child syndrome within the Redmi Note 13 lineup, but it's got what it takes to shine. It sports a sleek design, an AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution, and a reliable battery backup. With its vibrant design and a camera setup boasting a hefty 200MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, along with a 16MP selfie shooter—the Note 13 Pro caters to photography buffs. Just watch out for noise in low light and occasional inconsistencies in skin tone during portrait mode. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, it cruises through daily tasks and gaming with ease. Plus, its 5100mAh battery keeps you going strong. And hey, it still rocks a headphone jack and IR transmitter, which is a nice bonus. However, its reliance on Android 13 may deter some users, especially given the year is 2024. Nonetheless, if you're seeking a phone that delivers in terms of cameras, performance, and display quality, the Note 13 Pro is the one for you.

With its vibrant display and 90Hz refresh rate, the Galaxy A16 offers a smooth experience for everyday tasks. However, it heats up during extended gaming sessions, and its camera is just average, especially for selfies. If you're after solid performance and battery life, its a good choice. The Galaxy A15 5G would make sense for those who are brand loyalists and prefer and cleaner UI. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery, which offers a solid full-day usage or even more, and can be charged via 25W fast charging, which is good. In terms of camera, users get a 50MP primary rear camera coupled with a macro lens. The picture quality is decent in the day, but if a higher-resolution camera is your priority, you may want to look elsewhere.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ under its hood offers modest performance, and a mid-tier processor on a smartphone is surprising given the SoC can be seen on devices like Xiaomi Redmi 13C 5G, Poco M6 5G, Realme 11x 5G, and more that cost between Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000. While its AMOLED display is respectable, with a FHD+ resolution, its refresh rate of 90Hz may not sit well with everyone.

The Realme P1 Pro features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate that offers a bright viewing experience in most conditions. While it supports 950 nits of peak brightness, it may falter under glaring sunlight. In terms of design, the device closely resembles its cousins, the Realme 12 Series, with the distinguishing feature of a feather-textured finish on the back panel. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, the P1 Pro easily handles everyday tasks such as calling, messaging, and casual browsing. The device is capable of running heavy titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, though prolonged usage may lead to noticeable temperature increases. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. While the primary camera delivers decent results, distant or low-light shots may appear grainy. The selfie camera, however, captures social-media-ready images without the need for editing. Running on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14 out-of-the-box, the software offers extensive customisation options, albeit accompanied by bloatware that’s thankfully deletable. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, it can easily last through a day of light to heavy usage. In conclusion, the Realme P1 Pro is a solid option for those seeking a smartphone with commendable battery life, solid performance, and a smooth display.

Motorola's G54, priced at Rs 15,999, impresses with its robust battery life and a commendable 12GB RAM variant, catering to heavy users. However, the LCD display may deter some, especially avid entertainment lovers. The audio quality does stand out, and performance is reliable for daily use or light gaming. That said, the one-year software promise disappoints, considering the cut-throat competition in the segment. For faster charging, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite or Realme 11 5G come across as better options in this price range.

The Poco X6 Neo boasts a sleek, minimalist design with a remarkably slim form factor. Its 6.67-inch AMOLED display offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for multimedia consumption. On the rear, you'll find a 108MP primary camera paired with a 2MP macro camera, delivering high-quality images rich in detail. Meanwhile, the 16MP selfie camera on the front captures impressive shots in daylight, although its performance in low light is average. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, ensuring smooth daily performance and decent gaming capabilities, albeit with occasional minor lags. Running on MIUI 14, the Poco X6 Neo suffers from abundant bloatware. Equipped with a 5000mAh battery and a 33W fast charging adapter, the phone can comfortably last a day for moderate to heavy users. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is a budget-friendly option for OnePlus fans with good battery life, decent performance and fast charging. The tall display and lime color of the phone are also great features. However, for a better multimedia experience, the Redmi Note 12 5G or Moto G82 5G may be better options. While the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G has received some upgrades, they may not be groundbreaking. Nonetheless, it's a great choice for a OnePlus loyalist looking for a phone under Rs. 20,000.

The OPPO A78 comes with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ resolution. The device is equipped with octa-core Dimensity 700 processor which offers good performance. The camera on the device takes some good images, thanks to a 50MP sensor. The phone also has 5G support and it runs Android 13 OS out of the box.
