The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite gets the fundamentals right without trying too hard to impress on paper. Its biggest strength is the massive 7,000mAh battery, which easily delivers close to two days of usage, while OxygenOS continues to offer one of the cleanest software experiences in the segment. The LCD panel and low-light cameras are average compared to AMOLED rivals, but the smooth day-to-day performance, reliable thermals, loud stereo speakers, and polished usability make this an easy recommendation for users prioritising battery life and consistency over flashy specifications.

The iQOO Z11x offers a practical mix of performance and endurance, making it suitable for everyday use. It runs smoothly during regular tasks, and the battery easily supports long hours without frequent charging. The design looks modern, while the main camera handles casual photography reasonably well. The front camera could perform better, and the size may feel slightly cumbersome over time. Overall, it’s a sensible choice for users looking for reliability and consistent day-to-day performance.

The Realme 16T appears to focus on practicality by combining a large battery, slim profile, and smooth display experience into an accessible package. It positions itself as a device aimed more at everyday reliability rather than outright performance or camera versatility. Day to day usage should remain comfortable for most users, helped further by fast charging and a lightweight software approach in regular tasks. However, the cameras and overall processing capabilities feel fairly modest, especially when compared to more performance-oriented alternatives in the segment.

The Tecno Pova 8 focuses on standing out through its design and unique matrix display rather than competing on outright specifications. The large battery and polished software experience make it suitable for everyday usage, while the camera system remains serviceable in favourable conditions. However, several aspects of the package feel outpaced by competing devices in the same segment, particularly the display, performance, and multimedia experience. Overall, it offers a distinctive identity, but its appeal largely depends on how much value users place on its unique design elements.

The Redmi 15 strikes a compelling balance for users prioritizing a large-scale media experience and battery longevity. Its large 6.9-inch display and loud speaker deliver an enjoyable setup for media consumption, while the processor handles daily surfing and scrolling smoothly. The exceptional battery life ensures outstanding reliability, lasting up to two days with normal use. The premium, eye-pleasing design also feels sturdy and looks great for its price. However, the phone feels quite heavy, and significant bloatware clutters the initial experience. Demanding games may also see some stutters, and the charging speed is notably slow. Despite these drawbacks, the Redmi 15 confidently delivers where it matters most for its target audience.

The Infinix Note Edge offers a bright and vibrant display that makes everyday use and media consumption enjoyable. Its primary camera delivers pleasing images in most lighting conditions, making it suitable for casual photography.
Battery life is dependable and lasts comfortably through a full day of regular use. Performance isn’t its strongest aspect, and the lack of additional lenses limits versatility. Still, it remains a solid option for users who prioritise display, battery life, and a capable main camera.

Looking for a solid mid-range smartphone with premium features and long-term software support? The Samsung Galaxy A34 is a fantastic option to consider. With a smooth 120Hz AMOLED display and sleek, flagship-inspired design, it offers excellent value for its price point. However, it's worth noting that the phone doesn't come with a charger in the box and doesn't support fast charging, which may be a dealbreaker for some users. If you're looking for other compelling alternatives in this price range, you might want to check out the iQOO Neo 7 or Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is a powerful smartphone and ships with an excellent specs sheet. The device is a bit bulky weighing 213 grams, and it can be attributed to a heavy battery. Apart from that, the phone flaunts a stunning AMOLED plus display, a 64MP Quad camera setup and a powerful processor. The main highlight is the monster 7000mAh battery. Given the features, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is a good device to own in the mid-range segment.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the affordable version that sits below the regular Nord launched last year. It supports 5G thanks to Snapdragon 750G SoC, and this variant gets 6GB RAM with 128GB storage which is not expandable. You do get back the headphone jack which is good but the plastic body is a downer in this price range these days. The cameras are average at best but thankfully the long battery life with fast charging helps in daily use cases. Nord CE 5G has touch competition in this price bracket right now.

The new Samsung Galaxy A31 ships with decent build quality and display. The battery turns out to be the standout feature of this phone. On the downside, mediocre cameras and underwhelming camera performance make it an avoidable option. At the same price point, the Samsung Galaxy M31 turns out to be the better option.
