Starting at Rs 31,999, the OnePlus Nord 5 offers a reliable mid-range experience that focuses on refinement over reinvention. Its 6,800mAh battery holds strong through daily use, coming close to flagship-level endurance. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the phone handles multitasking and casual gaming smoothly, with no heating issues. While the camera hardware remains unchanged, image quality stays dependable. The new Plus Key replaces the Alert Slider, bringing handy AI features that actually add value. For users of older Nord models, this is a solid upgrade. But if you're already on the Nord 4 or 3, waiting might make more sense. And if premium design matters, the Realme GT 6 series may appeal more. The Nord 5 gets the basics right, and for many, that's more than enough.

The Vivo T4 5G stands out with its excellent battery life, solid display, and dependable performance for casual use. Its portrait camera shines, though low-light shots need work. While the software is stable and updated regularly, spammy notifications and limited long-term support may be off-putting. The mono speaker also underwhelms. Consider the iQOO Z10 for similar proposition yet speedier performance, the Nothing Phone (3a) for a cleaner UI, or the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion for a more balanced experience.

The iQOO Z10 offers a great mix of flagship-like features without breaking the bank. Its standout 7,300mAh battery delivers impressive real-world endurance, and performance remains smooth whether you're gaming or handling everyday tasks - all without heating issues. However, photography lovers might be disappointed by the lack of an ultra-wide camera. If long battery life, strong performance, a vibrant display, and a premium design top your list, the iQOO Z10 is a solid pick at Rs 21,999. You can also explore options like the Vivo T4, Nothing Phone (3a), or the CMF Phone 2 Pro (higher storage variant) in the same range.

So, is the OnePlus 13s worth 54,999? Absolutely - especially if you're after a compact phone that doesn't skimp on flagship features. With the latest Qualcomm chip, a sizable 5,850mAh battery, refined design, and practical AI tools via the new Plus Key, it delivers both power and portability. Sitting smartly between the OnePlus 13R and 13, the 13s offers top-tier performance in a more manageable size. It challenges the idea that compact phones mean compromise - and its mid-tier pricing only strengthens its appeal. Yes, it skips the ultra-wide lens, but what you get feels intentional. For anyone wanting flagship essentials without the bulk, the 13s is a compelling choice.

The Vivo T4 Ultra is a well-rounded device that gets most things right. It's powerful, comfortable to hold, and takes reliable photos, making it great for gamers, casual users, and mobile photographers alike. However, its UI lacks visual charm, comes with some bloatware, and battery life isn't class-leading. Despite that, it's a solid offering from Vivo that covers nearly every essential with ease - making it an easy recommendation in its price segment.

Motorola has crafted a no-nonsense, well-rounded smartphone with the Edge 60 Fusion. Its display, stereo speakers, and battery make it a multimedia powerhouse, while the clean UI and capable cameras add value. However, app performance isn't the best, and it lags behind rivals in raw power. For better performance, the Nothing Phone (3a) is worth a look.

The Vivo V50 feels like a familiar sequel - similar to the Vivo V40 but with some fresh upgrades. Vivo's "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach works here. While not a radical change, the V50 surprised with its sleek design and solid improvements. The display and build feel premium, and though I feared dropping it due to the glossy/matte finish, I didn't have to test my luck. ZEISS cameras improve photo quality, and at Rs 34,999, it's a good deal for photography. Battery life easily lasts over a day and a half with heavy use. If you're on the Vivo V40, skip the upgrade. But if your phone's older, the V50 is a strong choice - just don't expect mind-blowing performance.

The Realme GT 7 is a performance-packed smartphone that delivers flagship-grade speed and impressive battery life thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. Its vibrant display and rich speakers offer a memorable multimedia experience, while daylight photos come out lively and true to life. Housed in an attractive design, it's held back by variable camera performance in changing light, a few pre-installed apps, and slightly soft buttons for its Rs 40,000 price. The GT 7 impresses enough to render the GT 7 Pro slightly redundant.

The Motorola G85 brings a sleek design, a curved pOLED display, outstanding battery life, and impressive speaker performance. For those who appreciate a stylish phone, Motorola has ensured that this device caters to their needs. With a curved screen offering vibrant, punchy colours, it's a standout option in the sub-Rs 20,000 range. On the camera front, it captures social media-ready photos, though they may appear artificial. While the phone can handle demanding tasks without issue, it does tend to heat up after extended use. If you're after a phone with a clean and straightforward software experience, this one checks all the right boxes.

The iQOO 13 handles heavy gaming, but we did experience some hiccups. The design leans a bit too much toward the iPhone look, with subtle changes that could have been more refined. The display is excellent, boosted by the 144Hz refresh rate, while the camera is decent, though improvements are needed in telephoto, low-light, and portrait shots. Overall, this phone isn't a huge leap from the iQOO 12, but software updates could improve things. If you're after better camera performance and slightly more power, the Realme GT 7 Pro is worth considering.

What exactly makes the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro "Pro"? Not much - same display, chipset, battery, charging, and software as the Nothing Phone (3a). The only real upgrades? A periscope camera and a slightly better selfie shooter. Nothing's just following the industry playbook - add a lens, slap on a "Pro" tag. The lineup is starting to feel messy, with the (3a) Pro making the (2a) Plus seem well, unnecessary. Design-wise, it's stunning, but the added weight might not be for everyone. Performance is great for daily use, but gamers should look at the OnePlus Nord 4, Realme GT 6T, or Realme P3 Pro. The camera is a mixed bag - some shots are fantastic, others feel like the software got confused mid-processing. A future update might fix that. If you're new to Nothing, this is a solid pick. But if you've got the (2a) or (2a) Plus, this shouldn't be the ideal upgrade.

The Galaxy A55 is a solid mid-range phone with a minimal design, good display quality, and a reliable Exynos chipset. The phone mostly impresses but isn't a major upgrade over the Galaxy A54. So, if you are still using that phone, no need to upgrade. But, if there's an older model you want to change, this is a good option provided you are looking for a reliable mid-range phone. As for the alternatives, you can go for the OnePlus 12R, which comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is a performance-centric device. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is another decent contender for hardcore gaming.

The OnePlus 13 aims to reclaim the brand's crown with a flagship that checks all the boxes. While the design sees minor refinements, it looks more sophisticated, and the 6,000mAh battery sets a new benchmark. The Snapdragon 8 Elite delivers impressive performance, excelling in high-intensity gaming with better heat management than rivals like iQOO 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro. However, its camera setup isn't a significant upgrade and faces tough competition from the Vivo X200 and Find X8. Despite a higher price, the OnePlus 13 is a well-rounded flagship, ideal for those seeking performance and reliability.

The Vivo X200 Pro is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, particularly in telephoto photography and video capabilities. The 200MP sensor delivers impressive detail and low-light performance. The display is more responsive and easier to use, making the overall user experience smoother. The phone feels great in hand, and its performance is top-tier. The battery life is excellent for a compact phone. However, the ultrawide camera struggles in low-light video, and the processor can throttle under heavy loads, which may impact performance in demanding tasks, like gaming. Despite these minor drawbacks, the X200 Pro remains a compelling choice for those seeking a powerful and versatile smartphone.

The OPPO Reno 12 possesses an unique proposition in the sub-Rs 35,000 price range: a camera-centric phone dabbling in AI as well. The AI features on this phone are far from just gimmicks, and they can actually come in handy for office-goers and students. The cameras are good too, but the ultra-wide shooter and the low-light photography need a bit of tweaking; however, these are just minor gripes that don't really affect the phone's quality in the grand scheme of things.

The Galaxy F55 sports a stylish design thanks to the vegan leather back, making it stand out in this price segment. It also comes with an IP67 rating to ensure better durability and make it water-resistant. The slim profile also means this is easy to hold with one hand. The phone also sports an excellent SAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for content consumption. It also works well in bright sunlight. But the audio quality does leave one wanting, especially when watching TV shows. The battery life and performance are also adequate for most users. However, the phone is not ideal for heavy-duty gaming and struggles with titles like Call of Duty: Mobile. While the rear camera delivers good results and the portraits are nice, the selfie camera needs some fixing regarding processing speeds. Samsung has also promised four years of Android updates, which is good.

The OPPO Reno13 impresses with its sleek, lightweight design, vibrant display, and powerful stereo speakers, making it a great choice for multimedia lovers. Its 5,600mAh battery ensures long-lasting use, while the smooth UI keeps things fluid. However, the preinstalled apps may not appeal to everyone, and the cameras could use slight refinements. If top-tier performance is your priority, the Vivo T3 Ultra is a strong alternative, while the Realme GT 6 is ideal for dedicated gamers.

The Honor 200 is a camera-focused phone with excellent display and design. Its 120Hz screen is great for multimedia, and its appealing design and color options stand out. The software integration is impressive. For photography, the Honor 200 is a solid choice. However, for performance in the under-Rs 35,000 segment, consider the Realme GT 6T, Poco F6, or OnePlus Nord 4, which also offer better battery life.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo boasts a sleek, lightweight design with a flat display, impressive cameras, and solid battery life. It handles everything except heavy gaming - if that's your focus, check out the iQOO Z9s or Realme 13 Plus. For top-tier gaming, the POCO F6 is a beast. But if you're into stylish phones and love great cameras, the Edge 50 Neo is perfect.

The OPPO Reno13 Pro offers a premium design, solid cameras, and a smooth software experience. However, compared to the Reno12 Pro, it doesn't bring a major upgrade. The butterfly-illusion effect is eye-catching, but the rest of the design feels familiar. The display is sharp, with HDR 10 improving multimedia, while the audio adds to the experience. For performance, it's not the best. It handles daily tasks well but struggles with gaming and benchmarking. Alternatives like the iQOO 12 or OnePlus 13R may be better for gamers. The camera is good, but a few minor issues can be fixed via an update. ColorOS 15 is visually engaging but suffers from bloatware, making the interface feel cluttered. Overall, the Reno13 Pro brings meaningful improvements, but it still needs refinement to match a truly premium experience.

At Rs 64,999, the Xiaomi 15 delivers a premium experience in a sleek, compact body. It's stylish, comfortable to hold, and surprisingly easy to use without a case. Performance in everyday use is smooth, with no hiccups during streaming, scrolling, or multitasking. It does heat up during intense gaming, so power users may want to consider other options like the iQOO 13 or OnePlus 13. The cameras shine in both daylight and low light, especially when using the telephoto lens. Battery life holds up well, lasting over a day with regular use. With a Rs 5,000 drop from its predecessor and no major compromises, the Xiaomi 15 strikes a great balance between form, function, and price

The Realme GT 6 packs numerous features, such as AI enhancements for improved efficiency, a reliable telephoto camera, a stunning curved display with a peak brightness of 6000 nits, and a robust chipset that delivers strong performance. The Moto Edge 50 Pro impresses with a clean UI, sleek design, and reliable performance, its mid-tier processor notwithstanding. Its curved AMOLED display and 144Hz refresh rate enhance content and gaming experiences. The triple camera setup, including a 3x telephoto lens, performs well. Competing with models like Realme 12 Pro Plus and OnePlus Nord 3, it shines in overall usability but may fall behind in raw performance.

The Realme 13 Pro+ comes with impressive cameras and charging speeds while ensuring good performance. The phone's design is also attractive and overall, it is a good package. But, the price could have been a little less, given that its predecessor, the Realme 12 Pro+ still exists with the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

The Vivo V40 is a nice all-rounder phone, which happens to be a looker and has a good set of cameras. The phone's battery life is exceptionally good and if the bloatware apps don't feel like a hindrance, the phone is safely a good choice for a starting price of Rs 34,999.

Motorola is renowned for delivering premium-looking devices at budget-friendly prices. With the Edge 50, they have aimed to push boundaries by incorporating a vegan leather finish and a fully curved display and design. This phone offers a minimalist yet attractive look for users who appreciate elegance and simplicity. Despite its sleek design, the Edge 50 features a robust 5000mAh battery, which is quite impressive. Unfortunately, the 15W charging adapter may leave some users wanting more. Nonetheless, the battery life is reliable, easily lasting over a day on a single charge. The super HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate enhances the viewing experience, making it much more enjoyable. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 AE SoC, this phone handles everyday tasks effortlessly. However, you might experience heating issues during intensive gaming sessions with titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile. While the camera performs well overall, the portrait photography feature may disappoint some users. Considering all these aspects, the Motorola Edge 50 attempts to cater to a wide range of user needs. However, compromises may be necessary for photography and fast charging.
