The OPPO K12x has a pill-shaped camera module on the back. The phone's rear has a slight shine, reminiscent of the OPPO Reno 12 Pro's design. Furthermore, its sleek build makes it very comfortable to use. While the display is generally smooth, the thick bezels are rather prominent. This might be a significant drawback for some users. The company has included a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom for those who still prefer wired earphones. The phone has a 32-megapixel rear camera paired with a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. On the front, there's an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Daylight photography with this phone is good, although zooming in may cause a loss of detail. When it comes to low-light photography, the performance is merely average. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which can easily handle casual tasks and gaming. However, if you're into heavy gaming, you should explore other options. The OPPO K12x includes a 5100mAh battery and a 45W SUPERVOOC fast charger. The battery life can easily extend up to two days. In conclusion, if you prioritise a stylish design, reliable performance for everyday tasks, and long battery life, the OPPO K12x is a compelling choice.

The CMF Phone 1 feels unique yet familiar, akin to what the Nokia Lumia 525 was for college students. It's aimed at a similar market, offering a hipster vibe, smooth performance, and solid basics. Despite lacking an ultrawide camera, stereo speakers, and the Glyph interface, its modularity is a standout feature. A competition to encourage third-party accessory innovation could boost its appeal. Priced at Rs 15,999, it's positioned to undercut the POCO X6 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, differentiating it from Nothing's main series. If you value smooth software and a unique design, check it out.

The Vivo T3x features a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports up to 1000 nits of peak brightness, so the panel is adequately bright, but outdoor visibility can be a bit challenging under direct sunlight. The colours on the display aren't particularly vibrant or punchy but lean more towards a neutral approach. For photography, the Vivo T3x is equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. The photos taken with this smartphone are good but sometimes images lack adequate details. The dynamic range is limited, which may be a drawback for some users. Regardless, for the price, the photos are impressive. Low-light performance is average. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera that captures natural-looking photos. The Vivo T3x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, delivering solid performance. The device handles multitasking and heavy gaming without significant heat issues. It runs on FunTouchOS 14, based on Android 14, out of the box. While the phone comes with some bloatware, apps can be uninstalled if unnecessary. The Vivo T3x boasts a 6000mAh battery and includes a 44W fast charger in the box, providing impressive battery life. So, if you're looking for a smartphone under Rs 15,000 with a sleek design, excellent battery life, and reliable performance, the Vivo T3x is a great option to consider.

Realme's Narzo 70 strongly resembles other models from the brand, featuring a central circular camera module and a boxy design - elements that Realme has been incorporating for the past couple of years. This phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, capable of handling everything from light tasks to demanding games. The performance truly stands out. In terms of design, the Narzo 70 features a boxy shape with a glossy back finish, while the front sports a flat display. The bezels are relatively slim for this price range, which is a notable advantage. Although the design isn't innovative, the display quality is impressive for a phone in this segment. The phone has a substantial feel and is not particularly lightweight. It features a 50-megapixel AI camera alongside a 2-megapixel mono camera on the back, delivering decent photo quality. Unfortunately, the selfie camera struggles with capturing accurate skin tones. The Narzo 70 comes with a 5000mAh battery and a 45W charger in the box. While the battery life is seven to eight hours, which might not be exceptional, it is still reasonable.

The Moto G64 aims to offer an affordable device without cutting too many corners. And it succeeds in that aspect to a large extent. If you go for the higher-end variant, you get 256GB storage and 12GB RAM for under Rs 16,000, which is impressive. What stands out is the design, the general performance, the camera, and the large battery size. The user interface is also simple. But then Motorola is restricting Android updates to just one more version. Is this the best display one can get on a phone? No, nor is it a device centred around gaming. But then, given the price, it ticks some of the more important boxes quite nicely. If one goes by pricing, its biggest rival would be the Realme P1, which has more to offer on the gaming front. Get the Moto G64 if you want a phone that does the basics well and your budget is limited to Rs 14,000-Rs 16,000.

If you're in the market for an affordable 5G phone with a nice smooth display, vegan leather back finish, and a 5000mAh battery pack, then the Moto G34 5G could be your go-to choice. It boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a punch-hole notch and 120Hz refresh rate, this phone ensures visibility even under bright sunlight. Snapping pics is a breeze with its 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 16MP selfie cam. At this price point, users get a pretty decent camera. Its Snapdragon 695 SoC is a bit dated, but it can handle light tasks just fine. Plus, with My UX based on Android 14, the interface is clean and clutter-free. While the phone includes a 20W charging adapter in the box, it's only compatible with 18W charging, which may confuse buyers. For the price, you're getting a bang for your buck with decent speakers, killer battery life, and a subtle, near-stock UI.

The Samsung Galaxy F15 packs a hefty battery, a decent chipset, and a vibrant Super AMOLED display. Its design closely mirrors that of the premium Galaxy phones, though the inclusion of a 6000mAh battery makes it noticeably chunky. The 6.5-inch FHD+ display offers a 90Hz refresh rate, staying bright even under sunlight. As for the cameras, it has a 50MP main shooter, a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro shooter at the rear. It has a 13MP camera at the front for selfies. For its price, the phone captures adequately satisfying pictures. Powering the Galaxy F15 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, which suits everyday users well. It handles tasks such as texting, social media browsing, and light gaming with 5G connectivity capably. Samsung pledges four years of Android updates and five years of security patches for the Galaxy F15. It runs on OneUI 6 based on Android 14, but misses out on a bunch of features such as Always On Display and screen recording. While the overall user experience is fine, watch out for a bunch of pre-installed apps.

The Redmi 13C 5G presents itself as a budget-friendly 5G smartphone featuring a glitzy back panel, a chipset that can perform daily tasks with ease, and commendable battery backup. Display-wise, users are treated to a 6.74-inch panel offering a 90Hz refresh rate. However, the display's waterdrop-style notch and thick bezels belong to a bygone era. On the rear, the phone is equipped with a 50MP AI camera alongside a 2MP depth camera, while a 5MP selfie camera graces the front. Picture quality is decent, however, if the camera is your main priority, you may have to look elsewhere. As for performance, the phone is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which is adequate given its price point. While users might encounter occasional stutters and lags, these shouldn't significantly impede daily tasks. The device ships with a plethora of pre-installed apps, which can somewhat mar the software experience. Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery with support for up to 18W of charging. However, the inclusion of a 10W charging adapter in the box means full charging might take over two hours. That being said, if your primary considerations revolve around 5G connectivity, satisfactory performance, and an aesthetically appealing design without breaking the bank, the Redmi 13C 5G could very well be your go-to option.

The Poco M6 Pro's design language is minimal and stunning. It's lightweight yet sturdy, a great combination. The phone boasts a 6.71-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering good brightness indoors and outdoors. It features a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, which easily handles multitasking, though it may not excel at intensive gaming. The Realme Narzo 70x 5G boasts a simple aesthetic reminiscent of its elder sibling, the Realme 12 Pro+. Regrettably, the design language has become somewhat uninspiring. Featuring a 6.67-inch, 120Hz LCD screen, the Narzo 70x delivers an acceptable viewing experience, although outdoor visibility may pose challenges due to its brightness. On the rear, you'll find a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera, while an 8MP selfie camera on the front. While the photo details are commendable, the phone struggles with colour accuracy. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, the Realme Narzo 70x operates smoothly for most tasks. However, demanding titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile may exhibit minor stutters and lags during gameplay. Extended gaming sessions can lead to warming around the camera module and its vicinity. Packed with a 5000mAh battery and a 45W charging adapter, the Narzo 70x ensures efficient power management and fast charging capabilities. Running on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, the device offers many customisation options. Unfortunately, the phone comes preloaded with a significant amount of bloatware, potentially detracting from the overall user experience.

The Redmi 12 is that affordable 5G kid on the block, offering decent bang for your buck. It packs in 5G compatibility, solid battery life, and a respectable display for its price tag. With a spacious 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD display rocking a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, your visuals are crisp and fluid indoors, though it might struggle a bit under bright sunlight. In the camera department, you're looking at a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP depth camera - no ultra-wide camera here, unfortunately. Selfie-wise, there's an 8MP front-facing camera. While it holds its own in well-lit conditions, low-light shots leave something to be desired. It's powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, chugging along smoothly for your everyday tasks but stumbling a bit when it comes to gaming. With a hearty 5000mAh battery, it's got the juice to keep you going through the day. It runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, but be prepared for a bit of bloatware out of the box. At Rs. 11,999, this 5G smartphone checks off most of the boxes, making it a worthy contender for budget-conscious buyers.

Motorola's G54, priced at Rs 15,999, impresses with its robust battery life and a commendable 12GB RAM variant, catering to heavy users. However, the LCD display may deter some, especially avid entertainment lovers. The audio quality does stand out, and performance is reliable for daily use or light gaming. That said, the one-year software promise disappoints, considering the cut-throat competition in the segment. For faster charging, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite or Realme 11 5G come across as better options in this price range.

The Realme 12x closely resembles its older sibling, the Realme 12 Pro. While the Pro model boasts a vegan leather finish, the 12x comes with a plastic build. The Realme 12x features a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a decent viewing experience for its price range. However, don't expect the vibrant colours of an AMOLED display. At the rear, the phone comes with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor, but it lacks an ultra-wide camera. Photos taken with the Realme 12x are sharp, though the colours tend to be on the warmer side. The 8MP front camera captures selfies with artificial skin tones but is still social-media ready. Low-light photography results in grainy and noisy images. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, the Realme 12x handles everyday tasks like calling, texting, social media, and casual browsing well. For heavy gaming, it can run titles like BGMI on HD graphics, but you might experience some stutters and lags. The device runs on Android 14 out-of-the-box, offering plenty of animations and customisation options. The Realme 12x includes a 5000mAh battery and comes with a 45W SUPERVOOC charger. It takes about 55 minutes to an hour to fully charge, and the battery can last a full day with light to moderate use. Considering its design, functionality, and impressive battery life, the Realme 12x is a solid choice for those seeking an affordable and stylish smartphone for everyday use.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G adopts the same design language as the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, making it challenging to discern the phone's name from its back panel alone. Its rounded edges offer a comfortable grip, while the 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate provides a vibrant viewing experience. However, the chunky bezels may not appeal to everyone. Powered by the Exynos 1330 SoC, the device effortlessly handles casual games but tends to heat up with multiple apps running simultaneously. On the rear, you'll find a 50MP primary camera and 2MP depth and macro cameras, delivering rich and detailed images with accurate colours. With a 5000mAh battery and a 15W charger included, the A14 ensures long-lasting usage. Running One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 out of the box, the interface offers a clean user experience.
