Samsung launched the Galaxy F22 with focus on the budget buyers in the market. It has matched the needs of users with a Super AMOLED display and 90Hz refresh rate at this price which is impressive. The phone comes powered by Helio G80 chipset that does well in this range. You get expandable storage, quad rear camera, massive battery for long backup as well. However, the screen features HD+ resolution, the battery makes the phone bulky and you only get 15W fast charging support. Buy it if you need a phone with long battery life, and decent cameras.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 packs a magnificent 6.43-inches Super AMOLED display, offering Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Corning Gorilla Glass v3 provides sturdy protection for the screen. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 chipset handles the processing work. The 48MP primary camera with an Exmor-RS CMOS sensor captures beautiful images. There are fewer cons to point out, one being the 60 Hz refresh rate display.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 offers the best display, camera quality, software experience, and battery life in its segment. However, its super-slow performance is a huge letdown. The device feels so sluggish that at a point you don’t care about the positive bits of the device; you just feel like throwing it away for its poor performance. In spite of many class-leading features, I’d suggest you go for Xiaomi or Realme smartphones in the segment, which may not offer features as good as that of the Galaxy M31 but they get your work done and offer tremendous reliability.

The Samsung Galaxy A21s offers a great rear camera setup, one of the best software experiences in the industry, and an excellent battery life. While the phone doesn’t come with an AMOLED panel, its IPS LCD does the job. The only major complaint with the device is that it has a serious performance issue due to the weak Exynos 850 SoC. If you are a heavy multitasker, you should steer away from this device. However, if you are a light user then the Galaxy A21s will offer you great user experience.

The only real downside of the Realme 6 is its processor. The MediaTek Helio G90T might put out good numbers on paper but it isn’t as good in real-life usage. That being said, it isn’t that bad of a performer either. It will get the job done. Apart from the processor, the Realme 6, is a class-leader in almost every other department, may it be display, camera, battery life experience, or design.

Infinix Hot 10 offers a decent range of features for its price. You get a large display, with a capable MediaTek chipset that is paired with 6GB RAM. Add to that, you have 128GB storage that is further expandable. It has three cameras at the back, the screen has a punch hole that houses the front camera. And the 5,200mAh battery will suffice for long usage. However, the screen gets HD+ resolution and it uses microUSB for charging.

Realme has managed to resolve two major issues that consumers face with budget smartphones -- performance and battery backup – with the C15. The phone comes with a fast, Helio G35 processor and a 6000mAh battery. The brand has also managed to pack an ultrawide camera in the phone, put it ahead of all its competitors in terms of imaging. The only bummer is that the phone misses out on a USB Type-C port. But if that is okay with you, the Realme C15 is one of the best smartphones you can buy in the price range.

The Realme 5s 128GB is a good option when you consider its pricing. The phone comes with a large display, splash resistant design, Quad-rear camera setup, and a large battery. The cameras perform well in daylight but struggle when it comes to low-light performance. Overall, the phone turns out to be a decent alternative to the Vivo U20 and the Redmi Note 8.

Moto G10 Power live up to its name, almost. It packs a big screen with HD+ quality which ensures you get long backup thanks to the built-in 6000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. The rear cameras do a good job for this price, and getting Android 11 out of box is a good sign. But the battery makes the phone bulky, hybrid SIM slot is not expected in this price range and the overall performance is average for most tasks. Go for the G10 Power if you need a phone with long backup and a big screen.
