The Vivo Y18 features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, providing an acceptable viewing experience and moderately smooth scrolling. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, the phone handles everyday tasks such as calling, texting, scrolling through Instagram, and watching YouTube videos well, with only minor lags and stutters. However, intensive games like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile can only be played at the lowest settings and crashed multiple times during our testing. In contrast, casual games like Subway Surfers and 2048 run smoothly on this device. The phone has a 50MP primary camera and 0.08MP secondary camera on the back, and an 8MP front camera for selfies. The photo quality is average but sufficient for basic needs. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W charging, which is relatively slow. The device runs on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, and can feel somewhat laggy at times. Overall, considering its features and performance, the Vivo Y18 is a solid choice in the under-10K price segment.

Vivo Y20 features 6.5-inch display and the hardware is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage that is further expandable. It comes triple rear cameras that is decent for the price and a reliable selfie camera. But more importantly, the phone gets 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging speed. However, the screen resolution and hardware on board are a big downer for the price and with the existing competition.

The Vivo Z1x is a result of Vivo correcting the mistakes it did with the Vivo Z1Pro. The company has now used an AMOLED screen instead of an LCD panel, an under-display fingerprint reader instead of a rear-mounted one, a 48MP camera instead of a 16MP one, a USB Type-C port instead of a microUSB port, and improved fast charging speeds. The phone now has fast performance, bright and clear screen, good set of cameras, and long battery life. The only area we wish it was better at is the software design. FunTouch continues to be feature-rich but it needs to learn how to look good and behave well, and not mimic iOS’ design.

The Vivo Y17s comes with a 6.56-inch display which has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The Helio G85 SoC equipped with the device is capable of handling day-to-day task. The device has an IP54 rating and a good battery life. However, it lacks 5G support and has only 15W charging. If 5G and slow charging speed aren't a concern then you can consider the Y17s. At the same price, the other devices such as Redmi 12 5G, and Realme 11x 5G offer more value for money compared to the Y17s.

With the Vivo V25 pro, you get bragging rights to a futuristic pop-up camera on a quite an affordable price. This design also helps you get an unobstructed viewing experience. You also get good performance courtesy of a Snapdragon 675 SoC. As long as you can put up with Vivo’s Funtouch OS, this phone is worth considering, With that said, the Asus Zenfone 5 can be a better option if raw performance is what you are looking for.

Especially when you consider the kind of phones that are available in the market today, Vivo could have priced this phone a lot better. But if you can overlook the competition, though you have absolutely no need to, this phone is a pretty great all-rounder.

The Vivo T1 44W is an interesting option to consider under this price segment. The smartphone comes with a decent design language and the AMOLED display looks good as well, though it misses on a higher refresh rate. The major highlight of the phone is the 44W fast charging support, which is a rarity in this price segment. The performance seems to be decent enough to handle most of the tasks you throw at it. That said, the Vivo T1 44W edition can be your next budget phone.

The Vivo U10 is a stellar phone when you consider all the specs and features it offers at its price. It is definitely one of the best phones in the sub-10k bracket.

Vivo Y20G is a mid-range phone that has few things going in its favour. It packs a big screen with Helio G80 chipset under the hood with 6GB RAM which is impressive. It is also one of the few phones to come with Android 11 out of the box. And yes, it gives out decent backup. However, the screen supports HD+ quality, with no high refresh rate on offer. It also carries waterdrop notch, the rear cameras are just about okay and for charging you have microUSB port which is not ideal these days.

The Vivo X50 mobile turns out to be a pretty good all-rounder. The phone scores well when it comes to design, display, cameras, and battery life. It also features an on-screen fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The one thing the Vivo X50 struggles in terms of performance owing to the mid-range processor. Also, the device does not have any screen protection, and stereo speakers are also excluded. The phone is a go-to option when it comes to cameras and premium design.
