Poco X3 Pro is the ideal mid-range phone in the market for power-hungry users. It has pretty much everything you need. Big screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate, Android 11-based software, decent cameras on both sides and IP rating for splash-proof resistance. You also get long battery backup with 33W fast charging supported. However, the only drawbacks are hybrid storage slot and a bulky design can be uncomfortable to use. Poco X3 Pro is a definite choice for buyers.

The OPPO Reno2 Z has a great set of cameras, and it looks uber stylish, but it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to performance and software. The combination of a notch-less AMOLED screen, Dolby Atmos audio, and 3.5mm headphone jack offers immersive media consumption experience and the phone lasts long on a single charge. Heck, it even comes with 20W fast charger inside the box. We wish it had a faster processor and some form of water splash resistance.

OPPO F19s faces tough fight in the market, even though it gets a compact design. The hardware is average for the price, so are the main cameras at the back. You get AMOLED screen but lacks high refresh rate support. It get 6GB RAM by default with 128GB storage which can be expanded further. Android 11-based ColorOS fares well and the battery life should satisfy most users, especially with its 33W fast charging support. Loses out to better options in the market for us.

Samsung Galaxy A52 competes in a crowded market with average hardware in tow. Yes, the Super AMOLED screen is a big plus but only supports 90Hz refresh rate at this price. The cameras do a decent job and even the selfie camera is quite competent. But having 4500mAh battery might not prove adequate for most power users. Worth going for if you rely on a brand name and want to avoid the Chinese devices. Otherwise, much better options available in this price range.

Vivo Y20G is a mid-range phone that has few things going in its favour. It packs a big screen with Helio G80 chipset under the hood with 6GB RAM which is impressive. It is also one of the few phones to come with Android 11 out of the box. And yes, it gives out decent backup. However, the screen supports HD+ quality, with no high refresh rate on offer. It also carries waterdrop notch, the rear cameras are just about okay and for charging you have microUSB port which is not ideal these days.

Oppo F19 Pro ranks as a mid-range phone but the features do not justify the higher price. Yes, it sports a Super AMOLED screen but lack of high refresh rate is hard to ignore. The use of Helio P95 chipset delivers average performance and even the battery size could have been bigger. The looks of the phone will catch your eye and the quad rear cameras offer decent images. Samsung Galaxy A72 (128GB) is a premium quality smartphone that packs amazing specifications. The device sports a spectacular 6.7-inches AMOLED display, impressive quad-camera setup (64MP+12MP+8MP+5MP) on the rear, and a 32MP selfie camera at the front. Users also get ample storage space as the device packs 128GB internal memory that is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. Rounding off, the handset is powered by the large 5000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is the Korean giant's first attempt at a device loaded with three rear camera lenses. While these sensors do offer greater versatility, the overall performance is quite inconsistent. The CPU and graphical performance are also not up to the mark, especially when compared to more affordable offerings loaded with Snapdragon 660 chipsets. The nail in the coffin is the absence of fast charge. Unless you absolutely need the rear wide angle lens, you might be better off with one of the various other offerings at this price point.

Samsung Galaxy M31s features a bright and vibrant display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on the Android 10-based One UI and gets quad rear cameras that deliver in daylight conditions. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging that will easily last for more than a day. But the phone's hardware fails to live up to the billing of its package, especially at the sub-20K price bracket, where the competition is fierce.

Micromax 1N 128GB is yet another affordable brand from the Indian brand. The phone packs impressive specifications at the price range. The device sports a 6.67-inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card). It packs impressive triple rear cameras consisting of a 48MP macro camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie camera that also aids in video calling. The phone relies on a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging for power backup. As for the cons, the device is bulky (195 grams) and difficult to operate with a single hand. Also, it runs Android v10 (Q) operating system rather than the latest Android v(11) operating system.

Vivo Y51A 6GB RAM is an option for buyers but its features are a mixed bag. You get 6GB RAM on board with 128GB storage for the price, which is further expandable. The Full HD+ display is bright and colorful but misses out on AMOLED panel and high refresh rate support. The cameras are decent but we expect better in this range. The battery life is good but 18W fast charging is not the standard anymore. Buy this phone if you need more RAM and storage.
