The Infinix GT 20 Pro is a budget-friendly gaming smartphone offering a smooth 90fps experience and solid everyday performance. It boasts an excellent display and decent cameras for its price. However, it lacks an ultra-wide camera, and low-light photography is just average. The design is similar to its predecessor, though the new Mecha RGB loop lighting is a nice touch. Battery life could be better. Despite these drawbacks, the Infinix GT 20 Pro hits 'almost' all the marks in the sub-Rs 25,000 price range, making it a great choice.

The POCO X6 Pro, priced at Rs 26,999, stands out as the top choice for gamers under Rs 30,000. Surpassing rivals like iQOO Neo 7, OnePlus Nord 3, and POCO F5, it offers impressive performance, reliable battery life with a fast 67W charger, and an upgraded display. HyperOS adaptation ensures a smooth experience, but the presence of unnecessary apps is a drawback. While the primary camera excels, the ultra-wide is decent, and the macro can be overlooked. The selfie camera may benefit from a software update. Overall, a compelling option for gaming enthusiasts in 2024.

The Nord CE 3 Lite's improved on the charging front. It's got the smoothest UI in the segment, a high-resolution snapper that can click some mean photos in the dark, and its new eye-catching green colour is a breath of fresh air. But its dated processor and lack of an ultrawide camera can raise some eyebrows.

The Oppo F25 Pro packs a punch with solid performance, decent cameras for its price, and a battery that claims to be up and running for 16 to 17 hours. Its 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a speedy 120Hz refresh rate makes switching apps a breeze, while HDR 10+ support brings colours to life. Despite its rather ordinary design, the matte finish keeps fingerprints at bay. On the back, you'll find a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter, with a 32MP selfie camera up front. Picture quality is alright, but watch out for the selfie cam - it might make your face a bit too smooth. At the helm of it is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, the F25 Pro handles everyday tasks and light gaming effortlessly. However, be prepared for lacklustre performance especially on high-end games, as the processor is based on a three-year-old architecture. With ColorOS 14 on board, based on Android 14, there's plenty of room for customisation, the presence of pre-installed apps can clutter the experience. With the 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charger included in the package - all for a price that's well within Rs 25,000.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is its first in the S series to support stylus. It packs the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with 12GB RAM for optimum performance. The cameras deliver quality, and Android 12 out of the box is much needed. The battery life can suffer from a powerful display, the storage is not expandable, no headphone on the device, and the 45W fast charging not what you expect from a flagship phone. Quality device that cannot justify its price tag.

The Vivo Y200 5G is a budget-friendly smartphone with a decent camera and an appealing design. Sporting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, it offers an enjoyable viewing experience. The design features a matte finish with a glass back panel, which looks sleek and doesn't attract fingerprints. But it's not just a pretty face - powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, this bad boy handles everyday tasks with ease and even lets you kick back with some casual gaming. With a hefty 4800mAh battery and 44W fast charging support, you're set for a day of uninterrupted use. Now, let's talk about the camera setup. On the rear, there's a 64MP primary camera with OIS and a 2MP bokeh camera, accompanied by a smooth aura ring light for improved low-light photography. For selfies, there's a 16MP front camera that captures decent shots, although it sometimes smoothens the skin, giving it an unnatural look. Running on FuntouchOS 13 based on Android 13, the Vivo Y200 5G offers ample customisation options, albeit accompanied by some pre-installed apps you might not need. Nevertheless, if you're seeking a budget smartphone with a focus on camera performance, the Vivo Y200 5G is worth considering.

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo offers a sleek design, smooth 60fps gaming, and AI-enhanced software - features usually seen in pricier models. Its daylight camera performance is solid too. However, the IPS LCD display feels underwhelming, especially with rivals offering AMOLED, and the 18W charger and low-light camera performance leave much to be desired. Realme 11 Pro offers notable upgrades, including a premium faux leather finish and a vibrant curved display for an enhanced multimedia experience. However, the Dimensity 7050 chip is more suitable for everyday users than performance enthusiasts. While the primary camera performs well, the lack of an ultra-wide angle lens is disappointing. The battery life and charging capabilities meet expectations, and the software is feature-rich but comes with excessive bloatware. Alternative options include the Lava Agni 2 for clean software, a wide-angle camera, and the Poco X5 Pro for gaming enthusiasts.

On the rear, you'll find a 108MP primary camera paired with a 2MP macro camera, delivering high-quality images rich in detail. OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the affordable version that sits below the regular Nord launched last year. It supports 5G thanks to Snapdragon 750G SoC, and this variant gets 6GB RAM with 128GB storage which is not expandable. You do get back the headphone jack which is good but the plastic body is a downer in this price range these days. The cameras are average at best but thankfully the long battery life with fast charging helps in daily use cases. Nord CE 5G has touch competition in this price bracket right now.

If you're someone who loves trendy back panels, then the Samsung Galaxy F54 is the smartphone for you. It boasts a glossy back panel with a rainbow effect, though it does tend to attract fingerprints easily. Aside from this, the design language remains consistent with other Samsung devices. The Galaxy F54 features a 6.5-inch screen offering a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant colours for an immersive multimedia experience. On the rear, users will find a 108MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter, capturing natural-looking photos with rich colors. For selfies, there's a 32MP front camera, delivering accurate skin tones. The Samsung Galaxy F54 is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, which effortlessly handles daily tasks such as multitasking, calling, and messaging, among others. The phone is also capable of running heavy games like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, although it may tend to heat up after extended use. Running on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13, the device offers plenty of customisation options, although it does come with some bloatware, fortunately removable. With a robust 6000mAh battery and 25W fast charging support, the Galaxy F54 ensures long-lasting battery life, although it's worth noting that the charger is not included in the box. Overall, if you're seeking a smartphone with an impressive display, reliable performance, and great daylight photography, the Samsung Galaxy F54 is an excellent choice.

The HMD Fusion is perfect if you crave a unique, repair-friendly design and clean UI with minimal bloatware. It offers solid battery life and a standout camera for capturing memories. However, its display falls short for multimedia enthusiasts, and its performance lags behind competitors in its price range. If performance is a priority, consider the iQOO Z9x instead.

The Infinix GT Pro is a gaming-centric smartphone priced at under Rs 20,000. The device has an excellent design and an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8050 SoC which offers excellent performance. The smartphone also has 5G support and a 32MP selfie camera which takes some good selfies. However, the device would be getting only one Android software update, and the camera performance on the device is average. If you are looking for a gaming-centric handset under Rs 20,000, then the Infinix GT Pro is worth buying. You get a lag-free performance, a good display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and clean software.

Samsung Galaxy M51 gives you a big screen viewing experience and the Super AMOLED panel makes it even better. The hardware packed inside the phone is capable of delivering on all fronts. The snappers on board the phone let you click decent photos and the battery backup should help you coast through a day or even two. However, the phone's screen does not get high refresh rate support and features a notch instead of punch hole for the front camera.
