The Realme P3 is a solid choice for budget users seeking top-notch performance. Its new chipset ensures smooth gaming, and the 6,000mAh battery supports long sessions. Despite its large chin, the vibrant display enhances viewing.
However, the software, while smooth, comes with bloatware, and the camera struggles with lighting inconsistencies. Still, for power-hungry users, its a great pick. If you prefer a cleaner software experience, the CMF Phone 1 is a compelling alternative.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 is an elegant smartphone with features that would meet the needs of modern, everyday consumers. But as with its predecessors, it carries a similar premium of Rs 30,999 for the base model of 128GB built-in storage to deliver the same.
In the past few years, this upper mid-tier segment has drawn a lot of competition. So, if you want pure specs, you can find better options such as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. Both handsets ship with Qualcomms powerful 7 series processors and quad cameras at the back. If youre looking for beauty with brains, then the Vivo V30 is also a good option, especially considering its the first V series handset with Zeiss certification for imaging.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro isnt a major upgrade over its predecessor or quite Pro, but its still solid value under Rs 20,000. You get a vivid display, clean UI, good battery life, and reliable daylight photos. Downsides include lackluster performance gains, a mono speaker, and awkward button placement. For better sound and power, opt for the Realme P3 5G. Prefer long battery life? The Vivo T4x is a way to go.

The iQOO Z11 Lite delivers a balanced everyday smartphone experience with a focus on reliability, practical software features, and a distinctive design. Its clean user experience, dependable performance, and longer software support add to its appeal. However, the HD+ display, dated notch design, and relatively modest selfie camera make it less compelling in an increasingly competitive segment. Overall, it is better suited to users who prioritise everyday usability and software experience over cutting-edge hardware or multimedia features.

At 21,999, the POCO X7 is a sleek, stylish phone offering a fantastic multimedia experience and long-lasting battery life. It handles daily tasks well. But there are flaws, like an underwhelming ultra-wide camera and spammy notifications which may dampen your excitement. If you prioritise photography, consider the iQOO Z9s, and for a clean UI, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is a better choice.

The Motorola G85 brings a sleek design, a curved pOLED display, outstanding battery life, and impressive speaker performance. For those who appreciate a stylish phone, Motorola has ensured that this device caters to their needs. With a curved screen offering vibrant, punchy colours, it's a standout option in the sub-Rs 20,000 range. On the camera front, it captures social media-ready photos, though they may appear artificial. While the phone can handle demanding tasks without issue, it does tend to heat up after extended use. If you're after a phone with a clean and straightforward software experience, this one checks all the right boxes.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G is a notable upgrade with a vibrant AMOLED display and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Despite a camera downgrade, it still captures good images in ample light. However, the Snapdragon 695 SoC lags behind rivals like the Poco X6, Vivo T3, and iQOO Z9 in performance. If routine tasks are your priority, the Nord CE4 Lite is a solid option.

The Nord CE 3 Lites improved on the charging front. Its got the smoothest UI in the segment, a high-resolution snapper that can click some mean photos in the dark, and its new eye-catching green colour is a breath of fresh air. But its dated processor and lack of an ultrawide camera can raise some eyebrows.

The Galaxy A55 is a solid mid-range phone with a minimal design, good display quality, and a reliable Exynos chipset. The phone mostly impresses but isnt a major upgrade over the Galaxy A54. So, if you are still using that phone, no need to upgrade.
But, if theres an older model you want to change, this is a good option provided you are looking for a reliable mid-range phone.

The T3's upgraded display boasting a 120 Hz refresh rate and higher peak brightness is a notable improvement. Despite some bloatware, FunTouchOS ensures a smooth user experience. However, the absence of an ultra-wide angle camera and limited software support are drawbacks. Nonetheless, if you seek an affordable, no-frills smartphone, the T3 merits consideration.

The Redmi 13C 5G presents itself as a budget-friendly 5G smartphone featuring a glitzy back panel, a chipset that can perform daily tasks with ease, and commendable battery backup. Display-wise, users are treated to a 6.74-inch panel offering a 90Hz refresh rate. However, the display's waterdrop-style notch and thick bezels belong to a bygone era. On the rear, the phone is equipped with a 50MP AI camera alongside a 2MP depth camera, while a 5MP selfie camera graces the front. Picture quality is decent, however, if the camera is your main priority, you may have to look elsewhere. As for performance, the phone is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which is adequate given its price point. While users might encounter occasional stutters and lags, these shouldn't significantly impede daily tasks. The device ships with a plethora of pre-installed apps, which can somewhat mar the software experience. Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery with support for up to 18W of charging. However, the inclusion of a 10W charging adapter in the box means full charging might take over two hours. That being said, if your primary considerations revolve around 5G connectivity, satisfactory performance, and an aesthetically appealing design without breaking the bank, the Redmi 13C 5G could very well be your go-to option.

The Poco C65 comes with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 50MP triple rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging. While all this is common for a budget phone, it stands out because it undercuts the competition with its price. The Poco C65 offers a good daily performance with a battery that should last up to a day. There’s 18W charging support as well, is about as much as the market standard. The 90Hz refresh rate of the display could have been higher, considering many budget smartphones offer a 120Hz screen these days. Given the phone runs MIUI OS, it comes with heavy customisation and bloatware, which might be an issue for some users.
If you’re on a tight budget and are looking for a smartphone strictly under the Rs 10,000 price point, then Poco C65 is one of the best options to consider. It offers a good screen, a decent camera system, and a modest performance.

The OnePlus 9 (128GB) is a power-packed device with excellent specifications under the hood. The phone comes with a 6.55-inches Fluid AMOLED display with a 120 Hz screen refresh rate. The device comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs excellent camera configuration on the rear (48MP+50MP+2MP) and a single 16MP front camera. The storage configuration is 128GB and is non-expandable. As for the cons, the phone lacks an official IP rating, does not have an expandable memory option, and does not support wireless charging.
