The Realme 13+ has a solid build, performs well for gaming, and has a sharp 6.67-inch display. But it struggles with 1080p video streaming, has some camera issues, and its UI can be annoying with spam notifications. If you're looking for a more balanced phone, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is a better choice. For better camera quality, check out the Nothing Phone (2a).

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has got the whole shebang: top-notch display, killer performance, and a camera that's off the charts. Sure, it's priced a bit steep, but hey, that's just the iPhone way in India. The titanium back panel looks fly, even though it's a total fingerprint magnet. Plus, the rounded edges of the phone make it very easy to hold without a case. Speaking of the display, users get a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making watching videos and Netflix shows feel like a breeze. And let's not forget the cameras - a 48MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 12MP telephoto at the back, with a crisp 12MP selfie shooter up front. The 15 Pro Max will provide consistent results, with crisp details and ample dynamic range. The smartphone is powered by the Apple A17 Pro chip, making it a smooth operator. Whether scrolling through social media apps, casual browsing, texting, or playing intensive games, everything feels effortless. Sure, the phone might heat but a quick software update should sort that out. Battery life is impressive, providing nearly a full day of use, although charging speeds could be faster. And with iOS 17, customization options abound, allowing you to tailor the device to your liking. So, if you're willing to splash the cash, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is where it's at.

The Realme P1 Pro features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate that offers a bright viewing experience in most conditions. While it supports 950 nits of peak brightness, it may falter under glaring sunlight. In terms of design, the device closely resembles its cousins, the Realme 12 Series, with the distinguishing feature of a feather-textured finish on the back panel. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, the P1 Pro easily handles everyday tasks such as calling, messaging, and casual browsing. The device is capable of running heavy titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, though prolonged usage may lead to noticeable temperature increases. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. While the primary camera delivers decent results, distant or low-light shots may appear grainy. The selfie camera, however, captures social-media-ready images without the need for editing. Running on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14 out-of-the-box, the software offers extensive customisation options, albeit accompanied by bloatware that's thankfully deletable. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, it can easily last through a day of light to heavy usage. In conclusion, the Realme P1 Pro is a solid option for those seeking a smartphone with commendable battery life, solid performance, and a smooth display.

Sure, the iPhone 15 may seem like it costs a pretty penny, but it brings a lot of important Apple tech such as USB Type-C, 48MP camera, Dynamic Island and the A16 Bionic chip. Despite the lack of a telephoto camera on the iPhone 15, its computational photography prowess helps it be one of the best camera phones for the price point. At 20W, the charging speeds are still archaic, but its battery life is surprisingly good for a phone its size. The integration of iOS 16 ensures a smooth and secure user experience. The Dynamic Island is a useful addition compared to the plain old notch on the display. However, the absence of a high-refresh-rate display might be a drawback for users accustomed to smoother animations. The iPhone 15's price may be justified for Apple enthusiasts seeking to upgrade from older phones.

With the Pixel 9 series launch, Google has introduced a new design language. We had the opportunity to try out the Google Pixel 9, and it is stunning. The camera module on the back has been completely revamped, featuring a horizontal pill-shaped design that exudes a premium feel. From the front, the Pixel 9 resembles an iPhone. Its glossy frames add to its high-end appearance, though the slick finish can lead to more accidental slips. For those who prefer compact phones, the Pixel 9 is an excellent choice for everyday use. The software is clean and packed with impressive AI features. Google consistently nails the AI aspect, and features like "Add Me" and "Pixel Screenshots" are intuitive and practical. While the overall performance is solid, you might have to make some compromises when playing high-end games. The battery life is quite reliable, too. Additionally, the camera performance is truly outstanding. So, if you value a refined design, a stunning display, a clean user interface, and robust AI features, the Pixel 9 is an excellent option.

The Honor 200 Pro is a compelling choice, especially for portrait photography enthusiasts, with its Studio Harcourt features. It boasts a sleek design, curved displays, and solid performance comparable to its peers. Despite not being primarily for gaming, it handles intensive titles smoothly. The software takes some getting used to, but productivity features like Magic Portal are appealing. The battery life is commendable, though the lack of a charger at this price point is a downside. Nonetheless, wireless charging support is a plus.

Apple iPhone 12 Mini is the smallest model from this year's lineup. But there is nothing inferior about its features and performance. It runs on iOS 14, powered by the latest A14 bionic processor and the cameras are pretty good at the back. The battery life benefits from improved power management and you also have wireless charging to fall back upon. However, storage is still not expandable, the front cameras not matching the price tag, and so is the fast charging speed.

iPhone 14 Plus packs a large screen that is found only on the Pro Max version. It packs all the bells and whistles to suit any customer, whether a pro user or one who needs a balanced package. The battery performance of the 14 Plus is unmatchable, even when Android flagships are considered.

The iPhone 15 Pro, while lacking revolutionary changes, impresses with its USB-C port, titanium build, and A17 Pro chip, built on industry-first 3nm process. The display is stunning, featuring high brightness and a faster refresh rate for smooth use. Despite minor camera upgrades, the portrait mode and focal length additions are noteworthy, though post-processing consistency needs improvement. The phone falls short in maximising the true potential of USB Type-C (but it is finally here!), lacks faster charging, and offers an average battery life. That said, the iPhone 15 Pro is a perfect example of there is more to it that meets the eye. While the iPhone 15 Pro may feel pricey at Rs 1,34,990, it is a reliable and powerful compact option that takes forward the legacy of its predecessors in the right direction.

The Google Pixel 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz to 90Hz. The display offers vibrant colours and a pleasant viewing experience. The Pixel 7 has a solid build quality, though it can become uncomfortable to hold after long periods. The stereo speakers deliver excellent volume and clarity. In terms of cameras, the Pixel 7 includes a 50MP wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the back, and a 10.8MP selfie camera on the front. The camera app offers a variety of features, including Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Cinematic Blur. The image quality of the wide camera is impressive, but the ultra-wide camera's results are too narrow compared to other smartphones. The Pixel 7 is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC, which handles everyday tasks smoothly. However, extended gaming sessions can cause the back panel to heat up. The phone has a 4355mAh battery, smaller than the Pixel 6's. It runs on Android 13 out of the box and will be among the first to receive the Android 14 update. The software provides a stock Android experience with excellent features. If you're looking for a flagship device with good cameras, great features, a stock Android experience, and reliable performance for daily tasks, the Pixel 7 is an excellent choice.
